As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. About Us

Lyne’s Appliance was established in Broken Bow by Vaughan and Marilyn Lyne in February 1963 on the south side of the Sqaure. They did electrical work and serviced appliances along with sales. Their son, Matt, worked with Vaughan until March 1998, when Matt purchased the business from Vaughan. On April 1, 2007 a fire ruined the building along the Square, but the community stepped up and help out. Big shout out to R.J. Thomas with Thomas Livestock Company, as they let Matt use their shops just outside of town to house inventory until Matt could find a new location in Broken Bow. After a few months he was able to buy the old Safeway building next to the Broken Bow Post Office. Then in June 2018, Matt sold the business to my family, the Kirkpatrick’s. My parents, Bert and Bobbi are the owners and I, Brent, operate and manage to the business. My wife, Jessica, and I have 3 kids, Addy(11), Gage(9) and Reed(7).

Matt still works with me in the store part time and I really enjoy his advice on how to help our customers. We employ two of the best delivery technicians available, Seth Russell and Matthew Russell. I can’t tell you how many people with call back to the store and have nothing but praise about how they are very particular and careful with the installation process.

Also, we work closely with the only certified Whirlpool technician in Central Nebraska, Richard Zeirlien. Rich has over 30 years experience with appliance repair work and has almost seen it all.

My late friend Pat Downey always said “I have a guy for that” for every situation that came up. And it was always someone that knew exactly how to make it work the right way. At Lyne’s Appliance we take a lot of pride in being on your side and helping you get want you need.

Lyne’s has been in business for over 58 years helping our customers by being “your guy”. Vaughn (Matt’s dad) started the business doing electrical work and servicing appliances, then sales. Then Matt grew the business by expanding the selection and improving the pricing. He joined a buying group (Nationwide Marketing Group) that allows us to get excellent deals and we pass these savings onto our customers.

So when the opportunity came up to be “the guy” for home appliances in Broken Bow & Central Nebraska, I jumped on it. We have expanded our products and now carry TV’s and grills that help improve your lifestyle to go along with laundry, refrigeration, dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, ranges and bedding. As a Whirlpool Exclusive dealer, we can get things you can’t find in any big box store. And we go the extra mile for our customers because we take pride in what we do.
