Emergency purchase

I bought this 3 months ago and very happy with my decision. Was in a bind because our previous refridgerator stopped working and I wanted something similar with a water filter. The shelves in this model are great! Easy to keep everything organized. Plenty of room for tall bottles and big platters as well. And the freezer is easy to keep organized, unlike some other bottom freezers I've seen. The double drawer is very user friendly.

We bought this about a month ago to replace a whirlpool fridge that slowly died. Features we love include the (1) separate digital temperature readings for the fridge vs. freezer, (2) "crisper" drawer for fruit and vegetables, and (3) internal filtered water dispense - very convenient and avoids the loss of fridge space caused by the typical large brita container. One gripe involves the alarm when a door is left open. First, it appears this is locked and will not sound until the door has been open for FIVE minutes, which is far too long. Second, if you partially close the door such that it rests against the on off light sensor, but is not flush, I'm not sure the alarm will sound.
