Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Seriously. What have your engineers created.

Draperbart 5/10/2018

In some three years, I have replaced every big and small part once or twice. I have the receipts to prove it. This last time, I decided to buy the top of their line. I have had Kitchenaid / Whirlpool appliances everywhere in the house for the last for 20 years with mixed results. Something is seriously wrong over the past decade.

Disappointing

Wendystexas 4/30/2018

My dishwasher is About 2 1/2 years old about 3 months ago it quit heating i found the trouble shooting code and reset it lasts a few washes and back to trouble. Today the repair man gave me $430 repair bill, boards out, pump malfunctions just to name a few of the issues. Looks like others have similar issues, $899 for the Unit new. I expected more at this price, hard to decide what to do repair or replace?? Liked the unit fine while it worked, Why don't they recall when they have poor quality units especially higher end products.

Terrible service and horrible product

Big Dawg 1/11/2018

Nice features, great wash, and super quiet. I would rate this product super high if it weren't for one problem. I bought this dishwasher on June 2014 and it went out on March 2015... Called customer service to get someone to service it but no one would service it. I keep calling customer service to see if anyone would come to my home but to no avail. I live 30 minutes away from service cities but no one will come to my home! What good does it do to buy a nice expensive machine when there is no customer service to help when something goes wrong! Needless to say I have been washing dishes ever since. I would not recommend anyone to buy this brand.

Worked great at first, but get the warranty

9/17/2017

We bought this dishwasher and were very happy with it for about 18 months. At some point, it stopped drying well, even with JetDry and heated dry cycles. We reached out to support but they weren't helpful. Go ahead and buy it, but get the extended warranty. You'll likely need it.

Stopped Working After 2 Years

8/29/2017

Bought this dishwasher in August 2014. It matched our appliance and worked well for two years. As others have mentioned, the unit started having poor water flow and leaving food on dishes. Eventually a film developed in the bottom and the detergent would no longer dissolve leaving a big mess. Over the past year we had the unit serviced twice and paid almost $400. It's August 2017 now and the dishwasher has stopped working again. The model looks great and is super quiet, but NOT RELIABLE.

Lower rack broke after 13 months

5/9/2017

This nice-looking dishwasher came (new) with our new home. It's been a year now, and the lower rack glider came off on both sides of the dishwasher. The repair would cost $300! ($80 for each part, plus labor). This is half the cost of the dishwasher after only one year of use! In short: do not buy. We will probably go for a new dishwasher from another brand.

Disappointing Performance

4/25/2017

We purchased this dishwasher in November 2015 and expected it to last for many years. We were impressed with how quiet it was and it cleaned well for about a year. Over the last 9 months the dishwasher started to have a foul odor. We managed to clean out the drainer in the bottom of the dishwasher and I thought for sure the problem would improve. It did not. Not only did the foul odor continue but a dirty film would collect on the bottom of the dishwasher and bottom of the door. Dishes would have small particles of food stuck on them despite thorough rinsing. As of 2 mornings ago the dishwasher will not even turn on. The lights on the control panel are out and the dishwasher seems dead. Repairman is on the way but I can't imagine this being an inexpensive repair. I suspect that the repair will put me about halfway toward the purchase of a new dishwasher. I had a 2 year old GE Profile in another home which actually sat in a garage for 4 months after a major kitchen water leak and was reinstalled and worked perfectly. We purchased this KitchenAid thinking that it was the best. Totally disappointed.

Total Lemon

4/13/2017

This was a total lemon. We purchased in August 2014 and spent over $500 in repairs. Still didn't work and had to purchase a different dishwasher in April 2017. Racks broke twice. 2 new control panels. Sensors replaced. Still didn't work.

Great Dishwasher!!!

4/2/2017

I did my research and I am very pleased with this dishwasher. I have tried most cycles and have been very impressed with how clean my dishes come out. I have tried really dirty dishes and not so dirty dishes and they all come out clean. Dishwasher is very quiet. My only problem is I can't figure out how the upper silverware tray works so I took it out. I have only been using dishwasher for about a month but I am very happy with it. Hands down better than my last one that never got anything clean.

Washed great but took forever

12/5/2016

I'm not sure if I would recommend this. It cost a pretty penny. We had it a little over a year and it quit washing. Just getting a blue blinking light with "Add Dish" Icon on top blicking also right after we start the wash cycle. I emailed KitchenAid and have not received a response to the email about my problem. It calculated out to about $100 per year to own this machine. I can say that when it did work it worked fantastic. The dishes were very clean and sparkling. The total cycle took between 3 and 4 hours which I thought was a little too long.

Extraordinarily quiet!

11/27/2016

Very quiet while running. Sometimes i need to put my ear to the door to ensure it is. Interior is plastic - top and bottom racks seem sturdy but the dishwasher wrack (top shelf) seems a little flimsy. My entire flatware set won't fit up there, but it is good overflow. 2 cons to this dishwasher: 1) Seems the dishwasher runs for hours. I've never actually timed the cycles but they seem to be about 90 minutes for a "normal" run. Even the light cycle is almost an hour. 2) The stainless steel front is a bear to keep clean! Dishes are very clean when they come out and that is both for rinsed plates and non rinsed plates Other than that, i would recommend this product

Quietest Dishwasher I have ever owned

10/27/2016

I've been using this dishwasher for 2 months and still can't get over how quiet it is. Occasionally I forget that I turned it on and open it to add something only to realize that it is mid-cycle. My dishes are clean, it's noiseless, what more could I want?

Good when it works but complete motor failure in 2 years

10/16/2016

Purchased in June 2014 and initially loved the performance and low noise of the unit - sometimes when it ran you couldn't even tell! However, recently the performance started to degrade to the point that it isn't washing dishes at all. After speaking to Kitchenaid I was informed that it was a motor failure and that since it was past the 1 year warranty I would need to incur all costs, no flexibility or customer assistance at all. As a result I cannot justify recommending this unit to anyone - why pay more for something that breaks in two years?

Works well, but we purchased it only one month ago.

10/15/2016

The best review of any appliance is after at least one year's usage. Generally speaking, most appliances will work fairly well during the manufacturer's one year warranty period. Any time thereafter, expectations are highly questionable, irrespective of the original purchase price of the appliance. New buyers should seriously consider purchasing an extended warranty agreement on these types of purchases because most new technology today is surely to break down more frequently after the warranty period and/or require replacement more quickly!

Great dishwasher.

9/18/2016

Silent, efficient, I could not live without it. However I should give it 4.5 stars. The top drawer rail is a bit flimsy. The system has little metal balls that went all over the place when got "broken" and as a consequence the drawer does not open completely anymore unless forced. Other than that, it works great.

Kitchen Aid dishwasher Model KDTE334DSSO

7/31/2016

We purchased our Kitchen Aid dishwasher Model KDTE334DSSO in April of 2014. We bought it as part of a 4 piece Kitchen Aid Architect Series set. We also bought the 48 month extended warranty. After just over two years, the top rack of the dishwasher failed. The top rack will not slide out and we've found metal ball bearings in the dishwasher. Turns out this type of repair is not covered by the extended warranty and the estimate for parts & labor is almost half the cost of the dishwasher. Having to pay that much to repair a 2 yr. old dishwasher with an extended warranty is outrageous! This is not at all what I would expect from Kitchen Aid brand. And to add to the frustration, the repair parts are back ordered. That tells me that I'm not the only one with top rack problems! I'm very disappointed with this purchase! A beautiful, quiet dishwasher is only a great consumer item if it stands the test of time. Two years would be pitiful for even a low end dishwasher, which this is not priced as! I would not recommend this appliance!!

does not fully drain--foul smell

7/17/2016

This dishwasher cleans dishes, but has had a foul smell from the beginning. There is an inch of water that doesn't fully drain. We had it serviced from the company from which we purchased and had it installed. We were told the water is supposed to be there. Don't even try to get a real person on the phone. I tried five times and after the long wait time I was disconnected twice. Thought I'd try live chat and that has been disabled. I'd expect better customer service for the price we paid for this dishwasher.

Smells and Not drying

6/21/2016

We purchased the matching dishwasher, fridge and stove for our kitchen remodel. We have been happy with the other appliances. However, there is a metallic smell that comes out after each cycle and the dishes are wet, even on the drying cycle. I have to make sure to open the dishwasher immediately after the cycle to get the dishes to dry. I could live with the dishes not drying, not that I think I should have too at this price point. But, the smell is terrible. My daughter drank water from a glass last night that just came out of the dishwasher and there is an after taste in your mouth.

Great dishwasher!

6/12/2016

This dishwasher is super quiet and does an excellent job. It is so quiet, I have sometimes gone to check if it is actually running! I really like the silverware rack, which has slots for each piece, so I don't have to worry about pieces nesting if someone else (i.e., husband) loads dishwasher. The third rack is especially useful when dishwasher is full; the additional space is welcome! I also use the stemware pulldowns regularly and have adjusted the top rack occasionally. It is also thrifty with water. Only downside: cycle length. It takes a LONG time to finish a cycle! However, I happily put up with that for all the positives!

Love this dishwasher!

6/5/2016

Love this dishwasher. It's sooooo quiet, has plenty of options and I no longer need to "pre-wash" my dishes. Having 3 racks with one totally dedicated to silverware is great. The only drawback is that with that top rack, you give up some height for your 2nd rack. The 2nd rack is adjustable but then you give up room for the bottom rack and then my plates won't fit. I have several large Tervis tumblers and smoothie cups that are too tall to fit on the 2nd rack so I have to put them on the bottom rack--so far no melted cups. Overall this is the best dishwasher for the money.

Works well. Quiet.

6/3/2016

We had this same dishwasher which we bought only 10 years ago. The pump and motor were on their last legs and would have to be replaced, so we shopped for a new dishwasher. This was far, far too early for replacement in my opinion. Nonetheless we both liked this model with the third rack on top - ideal for knives - and we bought the newer model, hoping that pump and motor would last longer this time. It's quiet and cleans very well. Often we can do fine using only the "light China" mode. This new model has a sump for debris which is easy to clean, unlike the older model. BUT my wife liked the flexibility of the bottom drawer of the OLDER model. Fortunately, we could take the bottom drawer out of the old one and put it in the new one. The silverware holder in the new one is superior to that in the old one.

4/17/2016

I reviewed the installation instructions before the dishwasher was delivered and was surprised that the water feed connection on the dishwasher was not included. Before I could tell the distributer to include one, he already had. That would be my only complaint with Kitchen Aid. Installation was easy, the dishwasher is extremely quite and dishes come out clean...

Pleased with Kitchen Aid dishwasher

12/11/2015

Very pleased with my Kitchen Aid dishwasher-the features I like are this machine is so quiet, the racks slide out so easily, plus it does a very good job cleaning the dishes and etc. I am surprised how many dishes and utensils will fit in it, especially like the small tray on top rack that I can put miscellaneous items (like a whisk & measuring cups). Pleased with our purchase and would recommend it to others.

Amazing unit

12/6/2015

I bought this a few weeks ago. We installed ourselves with ease. I've never had such a quiet dishwasher. You don't even know it's on until the water drains! I love how well it cleans and the racks are well designed for getting plenty of dishes in each load. I also like the rack for little things on the top rack.

We purchased this dishwasher last year and it has been marvelous. My dishes comes out clean and spot free every time and I love all the options on the washer. I have no complaints.

Outstanding Performance

9/28/2015

We picked this up on a clearance sale a couple of weeks ago. It cleans fantastic and once it's in the clean cycle is very quiet at 42db. For reference, normal conversation between 2 people is around 70db, so this machine is very quiet. Time will tell how long it continues to perform, but it is a "Kitchenaide", so I expect a long trouble free life out of it.

Would definitively buy again.

I have been using this dishwasher for a month, everyday. I don't have a single complain about it, fast and effective cycles, everything great. I would buy it again!

Great reliable product

9/24/2015

This is our 2nd Kitchen Aid Dishwasher. Our first was 12 years old and both racks were in need of replacement (too damm much money for the replacement racks), so we opted for the new model. As always, we've felt that Kitchen Aid is a top product. Only one small problem. It was a floor model and while we didn't notice the small ding in the door near the bottom, the salesman didn't bother to point it out. The installation guys were great and they were the ones to tell us about it. Doesn't affect the functioning, but I'll never go back to that dealer. And, I've told my friends to stay away from that store.

Great dishwasher

9/22/2015

We have owned this dishwasher for about six months with no issues. Dishes are clean, the machine it is quiet, and the dishwasher looks good. Installation was easy, minus that I needed a fitting to hook up the water that it didn't come with, however, not sure if this issue was unique to us or not. The controls are easy to use and works great.

DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!

9/17/2015

Bought January 2015. Initially cleaned just ok; however, at about 4 months, plastic clips and rotating wand part in top began falling off…won't stay on except for 2 washes after reattaching. Cleaning is poor unless the tough/pro cycle is used. Cycles are very LONG. Last night it ran all night (8 hours on Tough Cycle) without turning off…first time for this, but just one more thing that makes this machine get a DO NOT BUY from me! I have had KitchenAid dishwashers several times and NEVER experienced ANY problems with them.
