Very Disappointed

After a little over 8 years I had to pay $750 to repair cracked cooper refrigerant tube and replace the compressor. My appeals for KitchenAid to cover these cost fell on deaf years. Company's reputation for quality has been greatly overstated.

Great product, poor door design

I love this fridge, but the door is a problem. My sister has the same model and has never had issues, but she is single and I don't think it gets the usage we give it. We have had to have the "flap" replaced (under warranty) but it still doesn't work right and I don't think it ever will.

Love this Frig

After a lot of researching and planning our kitchen remodel is finally complete. Love the French door style and bottom freezer. I'll have to re-think my approach to food shopping and storage, but knew that going in (counter depth is a little shallower than the side by side we replaced),but frozen pizza boxes still fit! Very quiet and it looks fabulous. Lots of complements.

Awkward water dispenser

Purchased Fall, '14. Very poor design of the water dispenser. To use it, door must be opened wide and held open, also dispensing the refrigerated air. Also not pleased with the configuration of the space; the doors must hold a lot of items to have enough space available in the main storage area. Cheaply built; a gasket already cracked.

Love the counter-depth

I have a smallish kitchen and the counter-depth refrigerator has made me happier in my kitchen space. I also love the detachable ice drawer which pulls out with the drawer or can be detached to reach things below. I find I don't lose things in the back of the fridge and let them stay forever because everything is more visible.
