Have had fridge for about 6 weeks---long enough to know I really like it! Love the bottom drawer freezer. Everything has easy access. Design is modern with long strudy handles on both compartments.❤

QUICK and TO THE POINT:
Just two weeks in to this new frig so far.
Great looking! retro-ish design on new White with Stainless-Handles unit!
Interior components are adjustable and decent. All appear easy to clean when needed.
Repairman already to replace BOTH L and R faulty freezer pull-out slides. No big deal.
TWO points to make:
1) EVERYONE (including service-repair guy)! tells us we won't even get HALF the 22 years on any new appliance as our (never-serviced)! 1999 GE -- that is STILL RUNNING now in the garage.
2) We didn't even get two cheap ice trays included with this unit! -- AND -- there's not even a small freezer-shelf to put our two old ice-trays on!
So we fill OLD TRAYS with water, then very slowly-gently close the pull-out freezer drawer so the water won't spill til frozen! Really? No stable ice tray-shelf?
Owner's manual SHOWS the little mini tray-shelf, but after TWO calls to the KitchenAid reps, then their "parts source," they claim the small ice-tray shelf "doesn't exist," but it's clearly shown in the assembly manual for this model unit!
Hmmm ... like buying a bicycle, but getting no pedals ... sorta like that.
KitchenAid -- when you read this -- help us out here!
I spent good money on this new unit. No ice trays or tray-shelf? Let me guess --- those are OPTIONS? Come on.
If this runs SERVICE-FREE for 12-15 years, I'll report back with two thumbs up for K-A!

Had some trouble with the Refrigerator but was given a replacement. For the most part I love the ease of finding and storing items. No bending to see what's in the back of the shelf. I hadn't bought a refrigerator in a long time so I felt this model was pricy. I was limited with space and it fit in perfectly.

Nothing but headache after it stopped working 14 months after we got it. "Too bad so sad" response from kitchen aid when seeking options for dealing with situation after. Moving to a different brand unless something changes fast...

We've had this for a month and have had no problems. I was concerned at first about the freezer, thinking it was too small, but I have no issues and I have been able to fit (and rotate) foods with no problem.

Has way more room than our old frig. Also much quieter. Only problem is the crisper drawers have a pathetic stop. If you pull too far, the whole thing falls out!

I purchased my Kitchenaid refrigerator about a month ago and I am noticing my vegetables stay fresh longer. My celery would wilt after a week in my old refrigerator, but this one keeps it fresh for much longer.

This fridge has very distinct old-fashioned look. It works great and is not noticeable during normal operation. It has many compartments for storage. I really like the bottom slide drawer so you can separate and see what's in the freezer without digging around. Very happy with the purchase.

Love the versatility and ease of accessing all the items. Handy shelf when door is open so that things can temporarily be placed. Added the ice cube maker so we have lots of cubes to use - very handy.

I remodeled my kitchen 17 years ago all new appliances and two years ago the fridge went out. I had one in the basement I'd run down to several times a day. I needed a bottom freezer replacement for a small space. This fits perfectly. Only had this a month and so far is working great. The freezer works great, the food is more solid than in my old GE refrigerator. The only negative is the dividers in the freezer baskets, I would like to adjust them and I cannot find any instructions on how to do that without removing the freezer door. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have now had this refrigerator for four months, and am extremely happy with my purchase. Pros: My meat is no longer freezer burned! This was my main complaint with my previous refrigerator which was an energy Star unit. This unit is also an energy Star rated. This unit compared to my previous refrigerator, is extremely quiet. Doesn't mean you can't hear it, it's just it's not as loud, and compressor sounds "different" than the previous fridge. Love the liners on the smaller door shelves, large bottom shelf does not come with one. The wine rack is also very handy, but if your opened bottle is re-corked with one that has a hole all the way through it, it will drip. Cons: these are minor complaints The long bottom crisper drawer does feel flimsy, so hope it holds up over the long haul. The holes on the top of the fridge for the unused handle mounts did not have plugs. I don't know if this was an oversight, or what, but it wasn't acceptable. Fortunately my appliance store was able to take care of it. Additional comments As a previous reviewer stated, this does not come with ice cube trays so save your old ones. The freezer light is a big plus.

We live in a older house so we were limited in the the height and width. One of the things that sold us on KitchenAid was when I asked how long can we expect a refrigerator to last? His answer was generally 7 to 10 years for most. He continued on to say the refrigerator we ultimately bought has a 10 year warranty on the major components, and that they would not warranty for 10 years if they had to replace those components. Other factors were the freezer on the bottom is much more convenient, with the bonus of being more efficient. The quality of the product seemed much better compared to other popular brands. One added bonus over the one we replaced was how flexible the shelves and interior is for storing things. We are very pleased with our purchase. If I had any negatives it is that the freezer rack is a rack and does not have a pan for ease of cleaning in the event things spill, but we knew that when we bought it.

Bought this ref one month ago. Two weeks from purchase the freezer iced up. Had a service call--seal around the door is not seated and allowing warm air into the freezer. New freezer door on order. Three weeks from purchase--Fridge has excessive moisture. Had a service call---seal around the door not seated. Tech removed seal and applied chalk into the fridge door where the seal goes, then replaced the seal. Today--freezer is iced over and ice cubes and frozen items are thawing. I want a new fridge, or come get this one. I'm not happy with this expensive product.

We were moving into an older house and needed a refrigerator that would fit into a rather small space and match a white, 1950's stove. This fridge was perfect! We've owned it for less than one month, so I can't say much about reliability, but the fridge and freezer have excellent seals, the temperature controls seem to work well, and I like the organization of the space. Also, I know some other reviewers mentioned the noise, but I can't really hear it unless I'm sitting in the kitchen.

I've only had it a couple of weeks and I do like it, except the freezer has frosted up pretty bad a couple of times. It's like the door doesn't close tightly enough. I am keeping an eye on it and if it does it again I'm contacting KitchenAid to come out and take a look at it.

Great fridge so far! Quiet & doesn't run all the time! My previous fridge was 18yrs and never serviced. I only hope this one does the same. Like the meat tray at the bottom of the fridge. Anything leaking will not contaminate the rest of your food. Crisper good with humidity control. PS: fridge doesn't come with egg tray or ice cube trays. Make sure and keep your previous ones so you will be able to use them. Freezer is adequate and pulls out & easy to see what you have. Easy loading. Nicely styled. Like the stainless handle - doesn't show hand prints. Easy to clean. Nice design.

First of all, we changed our refrigerator because I have a back condition preventing me from bending over to reach bottom drawers of our old refrigerator. This is such a relief for me to have the frige on top of freezer! It is really well organiser and the long drawer is convenaient. I was suspicious about the depth but it's fine cheeze and meat pack can fit easily. The only thing is the freezer drawer is a bit hard to open, toi need both hands to open it.
