Rinse aid lid can melt!

Be sure that the rinse aid lid is securely tightened. Ours fell out mid-cycle - then slipped into the heating element and melted. A replacement lid was $40.

Dishwasher was installed almost 3 years ago and has worked like a charm. An indicator light went out within a few months. I read the warranty and it does not appear to be covered. Other than that, we have had no problems and the machine operates very quietly.

We have had the new dishwasher for just over a month and it's working well. This model is not the very top of their product line but is quieter than the one it is replacing. It lacks a delayed wash cycle but that is no big deal.

I've been married for 45 years and had always wanted a KitchenAid dishwasher. My sister has had one for years, and she always raved about it! We were finally able to get one a few months ago, and I have not been disappointed! It's quiet and does a great job of getting my dishes clean! KitchenAid is what I want to own from now on!!

We had a Kitchenaid for 18 years that was great, but this one has not turned out to be. We bought it in February and we were told that it was one of the quietest on the market. It's fairly loud and does not clean nearly as well as our 18 year old model even on its worst day. We are having to pre-wash everything but the lightest of food.
