Drawer Front detaches from Drawer - Worthless!

I am a builder of high end homes and I installed this in my Model home (personal home) and the stainless front has become detached from drawer. Same problem happenned on unit we sold with kitchen. Repairman said he sees it on every unit - his advice was to replace the whole unit. Not great information when I spent $2,600
on this unit and I could have bought 5 dishwashers for the one I can't use now!

I love my two drawer dishwasher. It fits my lifestyle and saves even more energy since I can do really small loads when needed.

We bought ours seven years ago. We absolutely love it and would buy another in the future. As with all new appliances, you have to try different ways to load...very easy and I use upper shelves for mugs and cups on one side and for tongs and large knives on the other. It is very quiet, uses very little detergent, and it is ideal for smaller household, no need to run a larger version all the time. Unless we have visitors, we run one of the drawers every other day...no smell! I am sorry to hear that this type dishwasher is being discontinued.

To begin with the dish racks are of really poor design making for a very inefficient stacking/placement of dishes. There is no place for small items (the tilt down side shelf is useless) so items normally placed on the top shelf of a regular dishwasher have to lay at the bottom and likely interfere with cleaning of items stacked above. There isn't a load that has not required me to have to wash numerous pieces again by hand. I can't believe how poorly it cleans dishes, especially cutlery and plastics. And that detergent dispenser system...useless! The worst part is that the units develop a mildewy smell that is difficult to get rid of and if we leave for any length of time we have to remember to leave the drawers open otherwise we come home to a kitchen that smells of mildew. What is so upsetting is that it was so expensive!

initially, 7 years ago, we thought this was a great idea, but not anymore. The drawers won't stay open long enough to put dishes in or take them out, without propping the drawer(s) open! The "normal" clean cycle isn't great...simple stuff that's set in for half a day doesn't come off the dishes, so we basically have to wash the dishes before putting into the dishwasher. Kind of glad to see this model has been discontinued, however, I wonder how we will get parts, if needed down the road....
