Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Could have been an excellent dishwasher but....

5/30/2017

dishwasher does a fantastic job of washing dishes if you choose all the extra cycle choices - proscrub - sanirinse etc. the dishwasher is amazingly quiet and we constantly open it while it's running because... the LED on the door doesn't always work and you can't hear it running. The LEDs on the control panel rarely work and several always have a dim glow. we had it repaired a week after install for this problem, tech told us common problem. took him 3 trips to finally get everything installed but he was a nice guy. Soon after warranty expired same problem with LEDs. we have to guess which modes are active. Of course the rollers broke on the upper basket like everyone's however the new design is more robust. if it weren't for the shoddy electronics i would rate this dishwasher 5 stars.

Terrible

3/11/2016

Our dishwasher is less than 3 years old I have spent $200 on new rollers because the original ones cracked. The appliance repair company says that they replace rollers all the time on these dishwashers, typically after 1 year. Now I had to spend another $150 to find out that the clamp on the hose is loose and they cant replace the clamp alone you have to replace the whole pump which is $600. We are a household of two there's no reason for all these issues. We also have a kitchen aid refrigerator and over, both equally as terrible with multiple repair calls on each.

Problems Problems Problems

1/6/2016

I purchased the entire Kitchenaid line for my kitchen 8/2011. We bought the top of the line dishwasher (KUDE40FX) because Kitchenaid has had a reputation of top quality - not this one! It leaks water out the front door. It has done that since 2012. I was sent a new seal and it was professionally replaced - did not solve the problem. (The serviceman said the original seal looks fine but changed it anyway) I was told if you use too much soap it may leak. REALLY!!!! - I then used a 2 tsp container and only use 1 1/2 tsp of cascade soap. - Still leaks - not all the time; just enough to drip down to my furnished basement and slowly ruin my ceiling below. They also had me replace the plug to my rinse-aid. Amway detergent was recommended. It seemed to make it better. I ran out of Amway but still used just the 1 1/2 tsp amount - This week it leaked out the front door so bad that it was dripping thru to the floor below. When I turned off the dishwasher while it was running and cancelled and drained it - the dripping stopped immediately. Also, sometimes nothing works -no lights on the board - a serviceman disconnected and reconnected the wires and it worked for a while, Since then it quits off and on. If I bounce the door it would start working again-so far. I've had at least 3 service calls on this item and have made several more calls about it. I can't believe there is not a recall on this product line. Also the rollers on the top rack are broken and I must be very careful in pulling out that rack so it doesn't drop or pull all the way out. One sorry product. Its suppose to be quiet but it sometimes has a crackling sound. I had a Whirlpool before that lasted 15 years without any major problems. I've also had my Kitchenaid trash compactor and the Kitchenaid refrigerator serviced. Whirlpool - what have you done to your products?????

Wash great, breaks way to often

10/1/2015

The dishwasher works but the upper rack was poorly made. Mine is 3 years old, and I am ordering my 3rd upper rack roller assembly which wont probably last longer than the last 2, its cheap plastic. At 45$ plus tax + shipping it amounts to quite a total cost of ownership. (part PS10064063) Plus the door is now leaking and I may have to call a tech for this one. My previous kitchenaid worked 18 years with less repair than this one in 3 ! Too bad, seemed an upper quality model, but I was wrong, too much plastic in the upper rack, will never last.

Disappointed

sonia_kal 1/3/2015

Touch buttons on dishwasher don't always work. Since we purchased the machine we have had to replace several internal rack pieces as they have broken and further the dishwasher bottom started to leak. Several costly problems for a relatively new machine which had to be fixed out of pocket.

Quiet and works well, bad top rack design

Joelh 8/4/2014

We've had this dishwasher for 2.5 years and it works well. It is extremely quiet which we love and certainly looks nice in our new kitchen. The only issue we have had is with the top rack. The retaining tabs that hold the roller wheels to the rack are flimsy and will break with normal use. It is a poor design in that 1) the wheel retaining tabs are not replaceable themselves and must be replaced with the entire side panel, and 2) the entire upper rack is held in place by these wheels, and when the tabs fail the wheels come off and the whole top rack falls right out as the tracks are able to spread apart. The rack falls right down dishes and all. Seems they built in a single point of failure with the little retaining tabs. I ordered both side panels for about $40 total and easily replaced them myself.

Stylish, good features, super quiet, flawed

Handyman 7/17/2014

We really like the look and features and it's really quiet but in the first year the axles that hold rollers on the top rack broke and the replacements broke too so now we have rigged them with screws. What a pain!

Unreliable, the worst dishwasher I have ever purchased!

hechilds2 5/23/2014

This dishwasher has been fixed 4x in the short time of owning it. I have owned this dishwasher for less than 3 yrs. It would seem every electrical component has been changed and now the control panel lights are out and does not work again. I have a 13 year old whirlpool dishwasher out in my garage that still works and replaced it due to I was purchasing a new kitchen. I will never do it again! I would never purchase a Kitchen aid dishwasher EVER EVER EVER! IT IS AN EXPENSIVE PIECE OF JUNK!

This is the quiest cleaning machine I've ever experienced

WifeandMotheof2 12/22/2013

We love this dishwasher. The cycles are great. The dishes are very clean. And did I mention IT IS QUIET.!!! The only negative is how carefully you have to be in opening the top rack. The wheel mechanisms on the right and the left that slide the rack in and out are easy to break. So the rack must be opened gingerly with care. The top rack cannot be overloaded with heavy items. It will break the rolling mechanisms when you pull it out as cannot bare much weight.
