Nothing but trouble

Constant problems, plastic parts break, inside looks terrible, much louder than advertised. Not the quality of other KA dishwashers from the past. My cousin (theone who recommended KA) came to visit and was appalled at the wear on the plastic pieces and interior. She even suggested contacting KA to express displeasure.

Extremely quiet, easy to use. Only knock against the product is that I don't really care for the silverware basket. My silverware does not come as clean as I would like.

My daughter is a KitchenAid fan and helped us pick this dishwasher. So far, it has performed superbly. The space is huge and the jets are powerful to give us a good clean on all of the dishes and utensils everytime.

Quiet, but dishes don't get clean

Like the quietness, but has problems with leaving film on dishes. Even with rinse agent, all cycles leave white cloud on everything. Have tried different detergents, and no better.

We purchased this dishwasher about 11 months ago and I have been very happy with the quality cleaning results. But recently had to have warranty service. The upper dish drawer had to be replaced due to poorly made, flimsy plastic tabs that keep the drawer from coming right out of the dishwasher. The service technician recommended purchasing the extended warranty due to his previous experience with the new "energy efficient" dishwashers. He said that we could count on having him out again in the future.

I haven't had this very long, but so far I am very pleased. It has a very sleek design, lots of options for settings, and had gotten my dirtiest dishes clean. I like many of the features inside too.

It's nice to have a dishwasher that actually washes dishes. My only problem with this machine is after the dry cycle there is a lots of water left in the system. The silverware never seems to be completely dry.
