Space Saving Refrigerator

Our beach house is quite small and we were looking for a refrigerator that would not over power the limited space we had in our kitchen. The Maytag 18 cu. ft. top freezer refrigerator works wonderfully in our space and holds everything we need. The concealed handle openings are perfect as the handles do not stick out into the room. Another very clever design. The fridge is sleek and very well made. Very happy with this purchase.

This was a great purchase for the price. It is a little noisier than I expected and I can not figure out how to control the humidity on the many humid days we have here in North Texas. I am a one person household so for my needs it works just fine and fits in my very small kitchen which is a huge plus for me.

I bought this to replace a 10 cubic ft frig. I should have read the other reports first. Very noisey motor/fan.cold cut drawer is a total pain as it is difficult to open without moving it around poor design. it has enough room inside and im happy with that.I would not recommend it to anyone. and it might go in the garage after a few more months if it doesnt make me crazy first.

I bought this 4th of July weekend when it was on sale. I paid $600.00.It holds quite alot, looks nice in my kitchen.I am very happy with the crisper drawer and freezer.I feel like I got more for my money and that is rare these days

It has helped to lower our electric bill. It works great. I like that it is made in the USA would have been happier if it was still made in Michigan.

delivered Black Friday and meets our needs-especially sizewise due to vertical limitations. Refrigerator does seem to run quite a bit in light of the fact that the energy efficiency was a large factor in our decision, but no problems at this time

I purchased this last month, after having two others delivered by the competition. My problem was not the store, it was the fault of the manufacturer. The freezer compartment had icicles hanging along the top of the freezer, this was on both items that were delivered. I discovered the recessed handles and went looking for that specific feature. And there it was as at Home Depot. I couldn't be happier. This refrigerator/freezer met all of my requirements and is working perfectly.

I am very happy with this refrigerator .It keeps my drinks cold and my fresh foods seem to last forever. I was afraid it would be to small but it is really very roomy.I can't wait to have the ice maker hooked up. I think I made a great choice.

This is a small refrigerator for tight places. It has a fairly elegant design inside and out, with a nice brushed chrome finish and convenient and easily reconfigurable shelves, both in the interior and inside the door. It comes with an icemaker, unusual in this price range. This is DEFINITELY NOT a high-end refrigerator, but it has a number of high-end features.It is EXTREMELY energy efficient, the most efficient refrigerator of this size that we could find. Our electric bills have been noticeably lower since we replaced its older predecessor.I cannot speak for its durability because we have only had it for a little over two months.It's one drawback is that it is quite noisy. It is best for a kitchen that is separated by a door or something from the main living area.We are glad we bought it. The lower electric bills will pay for the refrigerator within about 2-3 years.

The glass shelves are nice but the plastic bins are very cheaply made and do not pull out easily. The bottom plastic bins have already had to be glued. The temperature apparatus is so poorly placed it makes the top shelf less usable.

I've had this refrigerator for a couple months and I'm just now getting used to the sound. This was something I obviously didn't know until it was to late. Other than that, it keeps things cold.

Good size, but the refrigerator makes A LOT of noise and runs quite frequently. Also, there is a weird sizzle noise that it makes? I wouldn't recommend this.

Great design for my needs. Ice maker does a fine job, providing more than enough ice. Only problem was getting the hole plugs out so I could reverse the door, they seemed to be glued in.

We were looking for a beverage/overflow food fridge with an icemaker for our party room and the price was right. However, I am a little disappointed with the PLASTIC shelving inside. We store cases of beverages and whole hams, large turkeys, etc. in this fridge, and the shelving bows under the weight. Don't know if mine is an earlier model than I was asked to review, but the glass shelves are worth the upgrade if there is a choice. Also there is a random drawer hanging from one of the shelves in addition to your standard meat/vegie drawers, and it is a waste of space.

I like this refrigerator. I like the the doors close and seal ( my other one did not). I think it is a good price. My only complaint is that it is less than a month old and I my ice maker has never worked. I could not get the installer to come back within the 30 days to fix it. They are trying to get me to buy a warranty which annoys me and does not speak well for Maytag or the seller (Brandsmart). I have a lovely refrigerator and freezer for a good price that fits in a difficult space. I just don't have an ice maker. So, I guess I got what I paid for.

The low profile and compact size of this refrigerator makes my little loft kitchen look much bigger. I got the black finish. It was very noisy at first, but now the weird buzzing and rattle seem to be gone. My electric bill went down by 20 bux in the first month of owning it. That's either a testament to the efficiency of this refrigerator, or to the terrible efficiency of my other fridge. It's a good looking, well working fridge. I'm pleased.

I bought this refrigerator because of its size and features. I am very pleased with it overall. My only complaint is that it tends to be loud. Thank goodness the bedrooms are far enough away that it can't be heard when you are resting. But, when the house is quiet, you really notice the sound.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a basic refrigerator. Icemaker works great, lots of space. It sits somewhat leaning to the back which I can't rectify with the levelers. It seems the like frig is built this way though, so the door naturally swings back shut unless you open it all the way. Overall, a good purchase.
