Best appliance in our house!

We remodeled our kitchen in 2009 and bought all new appliances. The Maytag fridge was a great value and has proven to be very reliable. Likes: - large capacity fridge and freezer; perfect for family of four - one large door is more convenient than two French doors - looks great - bright lights inside - clear glass shelves make it easy to find items - adjustable height shelves - large, easy to grab handles - quiet motor and fan - ice maker works great, no problems even after 9 years! - freezer on the bottom is so much better since I spend more time in the fridge and don't like to bend down all the time like the old fridge with freezer on top. Dislikes: - fridge magnets don't stick, must not be real stainless steel The external cooling fins are located on the bottom of the freezer, this is fine except for the fact that the intake for the air to cool the fins comes from the floor and lots of dust (and dog fur) collects on the fins. Remove the plastic grill and I can clean the front of the fins with a vacuum cleaner but I can't get to the fins behind the first row, this can decrease the efficiency of the cooling. As a recommendation to the engineers, have the air intake for the cooling fins source from behind the fridge and blow out the front, this could prevent the large accumulation of dust and fur from the front (my two cents). I understand some people have bad experiences and I hope there are few and they get covered under warranty, but this is a quality built fridge. I can't say that about my leaky washing machine, cook top that won't auto-light, oven computer with a mind of it's own or all 3 miserable dishwashers we replaced since the remodel (none were Maytag). This is a great fridge that is practical, large capacity, durable, reliable, good looking and one less appliance to worry about.
