I bought this machine just over a year ago, and wouldn't you know it the selection control board/panel stopped working just out of the one-year limited warranty. Very unhappy with the Quality of this machine. Initially thought it was a great investment as it cleaned the dishes really well.

I am very satisfied with how well this dishwasher works. The extra tall bottom shelf is really handy for pitchers, casserole dishes, and cutting boards. The powerful jets also do a thorough job of cleaning off stuck on food. I would recommend this dishwasher to a friend.

We were excited to get to stop "pre-cleaning" our dishes with this purchase. Sadly, we've had to go back to putting nearly spotless dishes into the dishwasher to get anything we wouldn't be embarrassed of letting company eat off of. The dishwasher has made all of our plastics brittle (a few have broken), and has been an overall disappointment.The salesman told us we would love the ability to wash 9X13 pans vertically, until I realized that any 9/13 with a handle would be hit by the sprayer. All the additional height on the bottom has accomplished, is making it more difficult to load the top rack. We try to avoid using our drinking glasses and have to stick with the shorter tumblers because there is so much less space for any glass over a few inches tall.The price was right when we bought it, but overall, I wish we had gone a different route. Very disappointing...

I've had this dishwasher for two and a half months and use it once a day. It is very quiet. It really gets the dishes clean. Runs a little too long and its not because of my water temperature, because it is very hot. My only complaint is that at the end of the cycle (any cycle) there is standing water in the bottom of the tub, I always have to push cancel/drain to completely empty the tub. I did check the drain line as recommended. I'm having a service call next week to try and correct this. As others have stated the top rack is mounted too high and the bottom rack does not hold near as many dishes as my older dishwasher. Otherwise its a nice dishwasher. I just hope it lasts longer than my older one.

This dishwasher is far less noisy than my previous one and I can fill the whole bottom rack with my big Mikasa dishes. My old one could only hold 2 rows of them on one side only, plus they had to overlap side-to-side. The top rack can hold tall glasses throughout as well, whereas my old Kenmore could only hold them on one row on one side.

I didn't want to buy a new high efficiency dishwasher because I heard they did not clean well and run for hours. This Maytag works cleans very well but it does take a lot longer than the 40 minutes my old one took. It would be nice if there was a timer that counted down to show the time remaining. If I want to have an empty dishwasher when company is coming I have to start it very early to be sure it is ready to empty before the guests arrive. The lower rack could use some redesigning, maybe some fold down portions for larger items. I am quite happy with the performance of my new Maytag. No pre-rinsing required!

I like my dishwasher fairly well. actually the only problem I have with it is with cloudy glasses. I've tried different soaps and rinse aids, but still cloudy glasses. I have a home with 3 young children and a fourth on the way! One request I made was to own a dishwasher before the new baby came along. After checking reviews, talking to many many people and considering our budget this was our choice. I have never been more pleased with a dishwasher. We really put it to the test over the first 5 runs, putting almost Everything filthy we could think of in it. My husband even called me from work to see how well it worked for the first few runs, and was Astonished when I told him EVERYTHING came out Clean!Thank you for making an excellent dishwasher that we could afford!

I replaced a 15 yr old Maytag expecting equal if not better product. This washer will not clean thoroughly if food has dried.I have to rinse/scrape items to assure adequate cleaning. Not doing this the dishes with eggs and other sticky foods don't clean. I find food scraps on backs and sides from other dishes. Bowls must be placed in upper rack to stand up to get clean. The least bit of movement they fall over. Upper rack is not designed well, too close to top with wasted space where I can't fit glasses or cups. This washer might be okay if you do the dishes every meal, but with just my husband and myself, we should be able to do them at the end of the day and get clean dishes. I can just imagine what the holidays will be like when the entire family is here!

We purchased this dishwasher as a replacement for a pricier one whose motor had failed. The pricing of this unit is very reasonable.This Maytag product does a good job getting dishes clean and does a great job on glasses. It is moderate on the noise level and has an attractive stainless steel finish with a recessed handle(which we prefer for an under cabinet unit). The trays accommodate larger plates and pots and the cutlery tray is easily removable. We are very satisfied with this dishwasher.

We had another Maytag dish washer for many years. The new layout of the dish racks and the side silverware rack make it easier to load dishes & silverware. The seems to be more space with easier acccess. My wife is very happy with the product.I removed the old washer and installed the new washer. I found the instructions were difficult to understand. The hose connections, and wiring connections were difficult to connect because of the lack space available under the washer.Our old washer was white inside and over the years became stained. I think the gray and black will not show any staining.

This dishwasher is nice and quiet and is well built. I wish it had more capacity. The racks don't really hold bowls very well and everything is always falling over. I like the silverware basket and that it can be re-positioned. The gray interior is very nice.

The dishwasher is amazingly quiet for a less expensive model. However, the racks don't accommodate my dishes efficiently; they are too far apart. I can stand cookie sheets on end in the lower rack but can even stand a cereal bowl on top. The manual talks about adjustable racks but 'some models may not be adjustable'.

I am totally unhappy with this Maytag dishwasher. All my household products are and have been Maytag. I expected better. The capacity for placing glasses on the top rack is terrible. Nothing sits in the rack without jiggling around. We've lost 3 glasses already. The bottom rack design and capacity is not much better. This model is energy efficient and the heated dry does not work AT ALL. After every load the dishes are still wet. We've had one service call and the technician said it's because it's energy efficient. Baloney. I can't afford to go out and buy a new one, so I'm stuck with this one. So we stocked up on dish towels and a rack so they dry before I put the dishes away.
