Won't buy Maytag appliance again

2.5 years of use, about 125 uses and electronics have failed so that we cannot choose cycle. The cycle it is stuck on is not energy efficient. Maytag is no help. Say unplug and reboot, yet that doesn't work. Terrible to have broken washer after only 125 uses. The ONLY redeeming Quality is that it is quiet and reasonably cleans dishes.

I went in looking for a fridge and came home with new dishwasher too. It is the cleanest my dishes have been in years. And, it is so quiet to. I love the look as well. It was the best purchase I have made in years!!!

I love this dishwasher. I had a Maytagbefore this one and it lagged over 20 years. My new Maytag is so quiet I have to be right by it to know it is working! My dishes come out so clean no do overs. I would tell everyone this is the dishwasher you want! Most important that I bought was Iwas told it was made in the USA!

There were times that I felt this dishwasher did not clean the dishes very well but I had changed detergent so I am not sure if that was the problem. Overall, this product has done well.

I ordered my new dishwasher over the phone, after I looked at 5 different dealers. The Maytag was the best product at the best price. The delivery arrived on time and the installers did a great job taking the old dishwasher out and installing my new Maytag. It operates exactly as I expected and it exceeds my expectations.

I love the dishwasher. I do wish it had a little larger capacity,but all in all I am okay with it. I really am pleased with all the features that this dishwasher offers and am still learning what i can do with it.

We bought this to replace our 9 year old original home dish washer. We were sold on this one because it was quiet and great for not having to pre-wash your dishes.In reality these two things are true for this dishwasher.We have little children who drink milk both day and night from plastic sippy cups so when we put these in the dishwasher there is no ventilation so when you wash with HOT water and HEAT dry the water doesn't dry from the sippy cups and the dishwasher smells like old milk.A call to customer service and we were told that indeed this dishwasher doesn't dry plastics but is excellent on glassware.Lastly the layout of the drawers; The bottom drawer is all one layout, straight tines all in rows, there are not any that are curved to place cereal bowls so they either have to sit sideways or around the edges or the top rack.The top rack needs more bars around the edge to keep lids from just sliding out of the row. It also adjusts up and down but it feels so cheep that I hate moving it in fear that it's going to break.We already had to replace an end-stop for the top rack which apparently fell off in the wash and was melted by the heating element. Again, cheep and flimsy on the top rack.

Because there are only two of us, my wife and I usually let the dishwasher fill to capacity before washing a load. Our kitchen is just off of our TV room and we wondered if the noise would bother our TV viewing experience. To our surprise and delight, we don't even know it is running! And after a program or two, the dishes are dry and spotless and ready to be put away in the cabinets! We love our new dishwasher, and we are always bragging about its performance to all who come to our new home. Thank you, Maytag! We are glad we chose you.

We have had this dishwasher in our new house for 7 months now and with constant company in addition to our small family, it never fails to get stuff clean. It uses a lot less water than our old dishwasher and everything comes out spotless.

I love this dishwasher! I look forward to seeing the super clean dishes every time I wash them. (I have had many dishwashers so using a dishwasher is not a new experience for me.) I think the cascade rinse aid that came with the dishwasher really makes a difference, too. The shelves in the dishwasher are adjustable and the silverware holder can be placed in various locations. I just can't say enough good about this dishwasher.

My Maytag Jetclean dishwasher has all the features I wanted. It leaves my dishware--as well as the inside of the machine--sparkling, without having to pre rinse. It's so quiet, we often don't know that it's on. All in all, this is a great dishwasher.

Product is an improvement over our previous Maytag. Very quiet and does a good job cleaning. Improved locking latch. The major negative, we find it very difficult to understand how things should be placed or stacked in the trays. It just doesn't seem to be well thought out. We also don't understand the plastic top plate where the silverware goes. seems like there is wasted space.

Aside from the uniquely designed three-arms for washing/rinsing, we are amazed at the quietness of the operation. Our kitchen is next to our living room. While we are watching TV, the unit is quietly, efficiently doing its thing...and we never hear it! And when our program is over, the dishes are ready to put in the cabinet.

We have owned just about every brand of dishwasher in our 40 years of marriage. We were reluctant to buy anything other than a Kitchenaid as it was our prior washer and for the last 6 years we had been very pleased with it. The new Kitchenaids were frightfully expensive so we thought we would give this Maytag a try. We were so pleased right off the bat as the Maytag was much quieter and the dishes and silverware were actually cleaner than with the Kitchenaid and we had run it on the quick wash cycle. With it being a Maytag there is little doubt it will last longer than the Kitcheaid.

This product performs as expected. I am disappointed that the control panel (buttons) are so small and difficult to read. It makes for a nice appearance, but it is difficult to use. The latch is also problematic in that is latches when you expect it to be open.

This is the 4th dishwasher I have owned in 17 years and is by far the most superior model. It does a great job of cleaning and is very quiet when operating. It is easy to load and holds a lot of dishes. I highly recommend it.

This washer has been great at getting the dishes completely washed and we just run it on 'normal' all the time. But it does have other heavier duty options like pot scrubbing and rinse and hold, etc. Very quiet as well.

Besides having the features we wanted, it is super quiet. That is the best thing of all. We also like that the steam vents through the handle rather than the top or sides as some other brands, that often leads to staining or discoloration.

This unit replaced my 15 year old dishwasher. So far I am very pleased. It cleans very well and when using the rinse aid it also does a good job of drying the dishes. The sound level isn't perfect, but much quieter than my old one. It does take some time to get used to the start-stop cycles that it uses on the auto clean cycle. Overall, I think this was a very good purchase. Stainless inside and out and very easy to hook up.

The racks are not laid out as well, not the same versatility, the door is stiff and hard to open, I liked the time remaining digital readout on my old Maytag, I just don't like it near as well, and I paid a considerable amount of money to upgrade to the stainless exterior and stainless interior. I think "they just don't make them like they used to." The sound panel at the bottom is extremely flimsy, it's just not the same Quality I had before in my dishwasher that was almost 12 years old.

We had a really old dishwasher that leaked. For us the most important was Quality and quietness. We are very pleased on both fronts. This is an excellent dish washer. One warning, some of the options can cause the wash cycle to last hours.

I purchased my previous Maytag in 2000. The dish-scrubbing feature was incomparable. Despite repair attempts it reached its end of useful life.That dishwasher had an interior with numerous shifting panels that allowed a tremendous range of items to fit. This brand new washer, with so-called "tough scrub" doesn't scrub. I even buy those expensive dish detergents packets that it is designed to work with it. Every load, 6-8 dishes come out with stuff stuck to them. I use auto clean, too, which is supposed to have a special sensor for getting dishes clean. I have many glass plates; they come out cloudy. What really worries me is the flimsy water-spinner that is mounted to the base of the upper tray. It already is very far off level after just a couple of months. Not a problem yet, but doesn't look like it will last. This dishwasher only has one feature that is better than my old Maytag - - more flatware trays.

This is a great dishwasher i love the stainless tub as well being a tall tub. The one thing i think could be done better is how tight the door closes to seal it off . Other than that this is a great unit and we really like everything about it .

The rack design is very inefficient. We had a prior Maytag and the loading design was so much better. The poor design for loading is a deal breaker for any future purchase. Hopefully, the design will be changed.Cleaning performance is excellent.
