Bought this dishwasher 3yrs ago and the control panel went out. Repairman said it would cost $450.00 to repair. Might as well but another one.

A little over 2 years ago we refinished our kitchen and bought all new appliances. Until recently we were very happy with our Maytag dishwasher, but it mysteriously just stopped working one day. The frustrating thing about this is we only use the dishwasher when we have company, about once a month, so it has been used less than 40 times. In my opinion, that is still new condition. The last time I used it the cycle was completed, but the start light kept blinking, and it would not turn off. We could not get the dishwasher to start again, except to drain. We called a Maytag recommended repair service, and he could not fix the problem. This service call cost $99. He said the part and labor would cost over $500, which is about what we paid for the machine. (My impression was that this guy didn't really know what he was doing). Strangely enough, about 10 minutes after he left the dishwasher started running on it's own. It went through a whole cycle, but then afterwards the same problem was still present, a continually blinking start light, and no way to actually start the machine. Needless to say, I'm very dissatisfied with this product and the recommended service company.

It was good while it was working but less than 2 full years the control panel is on the fritz not letting me choose all the wash options...only option is to get a repair man and replace the panel for $300..sorry just going to replace it.

Great, quiet running dishwasher. I have well water that is high in Iron so and I put a small cup of vinegar inside and the dishes come out "Hand Washed" clean. Our old dishwasher was 12 years old and our new Maytag is a much, much better machine. My only complaint is that there is not much room for bowels and such in the racks.

This dishwasher replaced a very old model. We have been so happy with the performance of this dishwasher. It has a lot of features we don't use but it's nice to know they are there. One feature we love is that the top rack drops down so our large water bottles fit! It is quiet also, not silent but quiet enough that it doesn't bother us.

This dishwasher has a great design and looks good in my kitchen. It can be turned on at any time as it is very quiet and does not disturb anything going on in the house It does an EXCELLENT JOB IN CLEANING DISHES. GLASSES SIVERWARE AND ANY POTS I HAVE PUT IN IT. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new dishwasher!! It also is an energy saver compared to my old one.

This machine is great! I had the Fisher Paykel dish drawers and they did not perform nearly as efficient as this machine does. Will definitely buy Maytag again in the future.

It washes dishes for the most part, but it doesn't seem to dry well no matter what settings we select. The jet dri stuff did seem to help, but it still leaves spots.

I really like our new dishwasher, but about 5% of the utensils and dished are left with baked-on residue. This does happen even with the recommended detergent (Finish)

I have had this dishwasher for around 5 months and have no issues with the dishwasher other than it has actually faded and removed print off of some of my glasses. This doesn't really bother me because I'm just concerned with them being clean and if they were important glasses I would run it on a lighter setting or hand wash them.

I am very pleased with this dishwasher! It out performs the previous high end dishwasher that I had by far! The dishes are always clean, no water spots either! I am so happy with this product that I hope to purchase a new Maytag range in the near future! Another positive is that this product is made in the U.S.A!

Have had for a year and runs great- dishes very clean, glasses clear. No need to clean out bottom as there is a grinder. Buttons difficult to read, decipher- otherwise a wonderful dishwasher. Very quiet.

One of the best diswashers I have ever owned. It looks sharp, cleans better then any other and is easy to operate. There are two negatives: it is louder than I would like, but easily bearable, and it takes a long time for the dishes to finsh the drying process. Nothing that would make me turn anyone away from it.

I like the stainless steel tub and exterior and the dishwasher cleans well. However, the rack design holds less dishes than our previous dishwasher of the same interior dimensions, especially on the top rack. The run cycle constantly cycles water intake on and off, which is by design and saves water, but seems to cause frequent banging in the home pipes with each rapid water shutoff.

My maytag dishwasher is incredible. There is never any food or particles left in the bottom. My copper bottom pans come out sparkling and there is no residue on the glasses! The maytag dishwasher is extremely quiet and efficient.

My husband and I switched from electric to gas with this range and we will never go back! Better, faster and more even cooking. The center girdle is great for Sunday breakfasts and warm sandwiches. It is easy to clean with everything coming apart simply and remaining simple to put back in place! We just can't say enough about this range!

This dishwasher is very well made - love the stainless steel inside. Very easy to load with deep shelves.. It's very accessible and you can wash large pots and pans with ease. This dishwasher is very quiet - you hardly know that it's running. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Our home has an open floorplan and that coupled with my husband's declining hearing made the selection of our new dishwasher a very careful decision. One of the primary concerns was the noise that would occur when I ran it after dinner in the evenings. We carefully compared the decible levels listed on the dishwashers and cautiously made our selection. We have NOT been disappointed! The dishwasher not only met our expectations insofar as it's quietness, but surpassed my need for cleaning ability. I rarely use the 'normal' clean cylce finding it just as efficient using the 'quick clean' (shorter) cycle when I rinse the dishes. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Replaced 10 year old dishwasher from another major manufacturer. This one is excellent. Dishes come out cleaner than we've seen in years, and the dishwasher is very quiet. Adjustable upper rack height and wine glass clips are both very helpful.

Replaced my old dishwasher that wasn't cleaning well after 15yrs. with this Maytag. I love the stainless steel tub! The top rack is adjustable for taller items to be placed below with still plenty of room above for tall glasses. I like that the plastic racks are under warranty for replacement as my old coated plastic racks were missing prongs and to replace the racks it was $150 each!Very quiet cleaning and dishes are clean. Loving it!

We recently purchased a Maytag dishwasher, and it's the best purchase we've made in a long time. The number of features is incredible. We can use a short cycle, or long. Heated drying, or not. Regardless, the dishes come out perfect every time. I was so impressed with the noise level. I can't tell when I'm running it. The machine is so quiet. I would highly recommend this product to everyone. The black gloss finish is very elegant, and knowing it has stainless steele interior and great warranty helped us make our decision.

The controls are hard to see. need to be in abetter place ie on top of door and made bigger. It is quiet but takes extremely long time to finish cycle. Gets dishes clean. except for inability to see controls i would give it a good vote of approval.

Replaced an old Kitchenaid that you could hear all over the house. This machine very quiet! Many times forgot it was even on until returned to room to get something out of refrigerator! Cleans dishes well! Capacity good!

This is an amazing dishwasher. It is constructed of the finest materials. Not only is it extremely sleek and sexy design wise but its also super efficient functionally. I have owned Maytag products in the past so it was a no brainier when I needed a new dishwasher. My wife and I are extremely happy with this purchase and will continue to look to Maytag in the future!
