I bought this dishwasher a few months ago and like my washer, I am so happy I once again chose Maytag. When you buy a product that never needs repairing, you have a tendency to continue to buy that product. Such is the case with Maytag. It runs the truest ads that I have ever seen. Bought this for my 450 square foot studio...I'm a personal chef and absolutely must have a dishwasher! This one is very efficient and does a fabulous job with dishes even if I don't rinse them perfectly. You need to use a powerful dish soap though...I tried several organic ones without success. The best one is Cascade Complete 8X dish soap pouches. I put one in the soap door and 2 hours later I have sparkling clean dishes! :)

This is my third portable dishwasher & it is incomparably superior to any other brand. Portables are hard to come by & have limited function. This one has the best spray arms, spacing, and cleaning power. I run 7-10 loads a week & everything goes in there. It only uses 7 gallons per load & I don't have to pre-rinse, so my septic system is very happy, too. I am sorry to see it has been discontinued & very grateful to have found the last one. I sure hope Maytag is going to put out a new version.

I really like it and it does a very good job of getting the dishes clean. It does take a lot longer to do a load of dishes but I have heard that is true with the newer models. I'm not sure why though.

My clothes come out cleaner and drier so I use less energy drying them. It also uses less water, but if my farmer husband comes home REALLY dirty I can override the auto fill and use more water. Works wonders.

I replaced a 25 year old dishwasher with a new model, you could say I was skeptical .. But I am thrilled with my new one. It cleans better and holds very pleased!way more dishes. My FAVORITE part is the delay cycle..my house is small so no matter what room you were in you could hear the dishwasher! Now we can run it later at night and also save on energy costs.

just a couple of small problems with this model that i didnt have with the one i bought over 12 years ago. 1. there is no handle on front or sides to grip and pull machine around kitchen. 2. The part that ataches to the spout seems to be cheaper made and I have problems sometimes removing it from tap spout, I worry that it will wear quicker. 3. The tray where you put the soap is positioned in a spot where it interferes with the opening and closing of the door. I also worry that if I forget to close it it might break off sometime.

I bought this a couple of months ago. Good Value for the dollar and an efficient product. Lots of room to fill with dishes and cutlery. Hoses to attach to tap could be longer. Quieter than my old one but could be even quieter. Looks good.

We are currently in a rental home and the owners weren't in the position to add a dishwasher so with a family of 4 and a small kitchen, we were in great need for a Quality, portable dishwasher. I grew up with Maytag in my family and my mom had a Maytag portable for years so when it was time to put something in the rental that we could take with us when we buy our own house, Maytag was hand-down the only choice for me and my family. Perfectly sized for our space and handles our dishes wonderfully. Great cleaning, super efficient, so glad we stuck with such a Quality product and wonderful company, Maytag. Would highly recommend to anyone in a position where a mounted/under counter unit is not an option.Thank you!!

One of my Christmas presents! I have never had a dishwasher in my house mostly because I didn't think I had room for one. My kitchen area is not very big, so the portable design of this one was excellent for me. I have some extra time to hang with my daughter and help her with homework, since I'm not standing over the sink washing dishes after every meal. Now I can just load it and go.... :) :)

I am not as pleased as I was with the old Maytag Dishwasher. It lasted 14 years and was great. This portable is not as sound and is more difficult to move around. It also seems cheaper made.

This dishwasher work like a charm. plug it in and it washes ALL the dishes. Best part there clean ... spotless!! gota love it! Noise level is ok too considering it not a built in unit. Make a very nice looking counter top, cook top, serving top, and place to put your wallet and glasses when you get home.In other words its a nice piece of furniture add to our home!

Our previous portable dishwasher was probably 20 years old or so, and it did a great job, until the handle broke. I like to just throw the dirty dishes in without rinsing them, so I was very pleased that this model handled it all and they came out sparkling. The only downside is the time it takes to run. The old one was done in about an hour, this model per manufacturers instructions, on the heavy setting, takes three hours. But on a side note I have not yet tried the one hour setting, for quick washes.

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of positive feedback to share about this product. It seems to be a hit or miss as far as whether it will properly clean our dishes each time. Often our glasses seem coated in a film or have some type of grainy deposits on them. I've had to put a few of our dishes through multiple times to get them clean. Overall, we are disappointed and don't think this dishwasher lives up to the Maytag name.

The sink adapter leaks around the hookup and it needs some type of aerator inside. Just having 2 screens does not work well. I do not get a steady strait stream of water. Instead the spray is outward and is messy with no pressure regulation. I tried another adapter that had a steady stream and aerator bubbles, but it got clogged with sediment from our city water system and I went back to the one supplied by Maytag. I wish they would improve the design and send me a new one.

In my experience, Maytag makes good Quality appliances. The dishwasher's performance is what I expected. To save energy and water, I generally fill it up and run it every second day. The only draw back is that there isn't enough room for the pots and pans which need to be washed by hand.

I got this because I had a countertop dishwasher that was just slightly larger than a microwave. I couldn't wash larger items & am disabled, so this was a problem. I was looking for some specific features, & this met MOST of them. First, I needed a portable because I rent. Unfortunately, that means almost double the price of a built-in with the same features. Doesn't matter which brand, they're all expensive. Second, I wanted heated dry. Third, a hard food disposer, which it turns out is not available on most portables. Last, a stainless steel interior. Oh well, 3 out of 4 features isn't too bad. Love the capacity, but the layout is kind of quirky. Love the cleaning & sanitizing options. Love the layout of the cleaning arms & jets. Love the heated dry. The noise level isn't bad at all.Now for the cons. The panel doesn't indicate where the dishwasher is in the cycle. The interior, as I previously mentioned, isn't stainless, which would help cleaning & drying by retaining heat better. The layout of the rack tines is kind of odd, so some juggling is necessary to ensure that a full load will get thoroughly cleaned. There is no end-of-cycle chime, so I have to remember to check to see if I can turn off the water. The only other problems/potential problems I noted were that the hose faucet connector can be difficult to attach, leading me to wonder if it's going to break at some point; and, when I attached the casters, I noticed that there is a plastic hose underneath. I don't know if this is used each time the machine is run, or if it would only be used if the washer was permanently installed, but either way I would expect to find a reinforced hose, & it is a bit of a concern. Just like every other dishwasher I've ever used, it doesn't dry plastics well. It would have been wonderful if the casters had been pre-installed, & completely reasonable given the fact that this is advertised as portable.Overall, despite its shortcomings, I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

We have had our dishwasher for 3 yrs now, worked great until a week ago, now when I try to attach the water connector it just pops off and won't stay on. We bought this unit because it looked just like our old one which we had 30 yrs with one belt replacement which I did myself. Not a peep out of it. What happened to the Quality, it doesn't seem to clean as good as the old one either although it is quieter. I would pay more money for Quality but this is the only portable offered.

I have tried dishwasher tablets to gels and I still get dirty dishes , even when I rinse before I put in dishwasher. I use rinse aid, I set on the lowest to the highest setting and still have spots, I tried sani rinse still spots. I would not recommend this product. I have washed dishes by hand from the dishwasher and after running through three times in the dishwasher. I have had this dishwasher since January.
