Horrible product-Breaks frequently. Maytag no help

Bought this dryer in 2015. Stopped heating on all cycles except rapid dry in Feb 2018. Maytag authorized repair people had terrible customer service. Said it needed expensive new motherboard. Finally installed in July 2018 and broke again in April 2019. Hours of calls with them. Said it needed yet another motherboard. No confidence that they are correct and reluctant to spend more money on this.

I've found that the timed drying cycle works best for me.

Still trying to figure out the correct temp for load. For automatic sensor, not impressed. Leaves items left more damp than dry.

Brought the dryer home and had to call a service repairman to the house. Had a loud thumping noise and was not drying the clothes. Repairman fixed the problems and it works fine now. Just frustrating to have to service a brand new item.

What a pleasure to have a dryer that dries the load of laundry and doesn't leave it wrinkled. It has a wide variety of settings that make it easy to get each load perfectly dry. The lighted drum it also a nice feature. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to anyone in need of a Quality dryer.

Very quiet dryer with many options. Just be aware a dryer with the steam option may require more plumbing parts not included. Work great and takes half the time as old dryer.

I replaced my dryer from an extremely well-known brand which was not functional after 2 years (and a lot of money). I had a Maytag washer and dryer years ago and wanted to get back to appliances that are actually made in America. I've had the washer for over a year now and have added this dryer to match the washer. I love how they both work-the clothes come out perfect and dry in no time! Couldn't be happier!

We bought this very expensive dryer in Sept 2015 and in Feb 2017 it quit working just 4 months out of warranty. Every appliance we've bought that Whirlpool manufactured has broken down most just outside of the warranty date. I've put 3 boards in a Whirpool Gold double wall oven, replaced a whirlpool gold microwave 1-2 months outside of the warranty and a refrigerator.

I've had this machine for 2 years and couldn't love it more. I have been partial to Whirlpool/Maytag products for some time, and the Maxima duo has not disappointed. It's large enough to handle any one of our down filled queen size winter comforters, yet is gentle as a lamb on the most delicate of items. I also have an animal sanctuary, and am almost constantly washing and drying blankets and comforters in the winter.

I have had this machine since November 2015 and really like the size of it and all the drying choices. Very handy to have the energy saving setting!Two things I find that I don't like 1. The noise the machine makes. I think it's loud for a new machine.2. The front panel controls are very touchy when you lean against the panel. Changes the settings if you are not careful, although it "sings" to you if anything is changed so you can look to see what you have done.I can live with both of these criticisms

We just bought it a week ago. I finally realized that the dial only goes clockwise to change the drying selection. Not used to a dial, I've had a touch button panel for the last 31 years. I'm hoping this will do as well as the last 31 years?!! So far so good! I only have space for stacking and the panel on the dryer is hard to see and I am 5' 7".

I bought this Maxima Dryer to match my Maxima Front Load Washer. The capacity is very large and it drys fine, but the unit is very noisy when it runs. We have a first floor laundry room and I can hear it running in the MBR suite upstairs so I do not run it at night. I am disappointed since I expected a quieter operation for a top brand.

My previous dryer didnt have the wrinkle feature... this one does which is great... clothes not always dry however if you have a mixed content of heavier and lighter fabrics...

Large size. I like the many different functions. Can't give it 5 stars because the sensing features is inaccurate about half the time. Not a huge deal to restart the dryer when some clothes are still damp (it does get the wrinkles out well) but I expected better.

I had a maytag front loader washer and dryer for 12 years and the repairman was out once because of the sediment in our water that blocked the water line into the washer great washer and dryer and when we moved into our new home we bought another pair great product and made in the USA.

Worked fine at first. Then I had to have a technician come out to tell me I had an electrical problem in my home's wiring, oops, but they were nice about it. Once that was addressed, no more problems. I think I will enjoy using this dryer. It works quite well!

Overall, a solid performer. I don't know if I'll ever use all the features, but it's still new. My only complaint is that it could be a little easier for a non-techy person like me to use. The spin gets so much water out that I sometimes wonder if I forgot to turn it on!

We have had it for nearly a month and it is quicker for regular wash than our previous front loader. Getting used to the "musical chimes" when the machine is turned on, started or stops. Cannot wait until my husband can figure out the "steam settings'!!

only owned this for about two weeks. I have not used the steam features yet, but the wrinkle free setting is wonderful. The buzzer is less annoying than in my previous machine but very soft so it is hard to tell when it is done at times, but it keeps on tumbling to keep wrinkles out. I am still new to this machine but so far it is fun to use.

Every time I put a load in I have to turn it off then back on or open the sort for it to let me chose a setting. There is no load size string at all, the dryer tells me to check the lint trap even after I have checked it! Lots of little michanical settings I don't care for and makes it complicated, seriously thinking of returning mine!
