Incredible Machine!

I've had this washer for a year and a half. The cleaning performance is better than any other machine I've had. You can steam and sanitize towels, and there is even an allergen setting. We are a family of 5 with 2 dogs and a cat. Unlike other machines, the hair comes off of our clothes and collects in the rubber ring. I clean it regularly and run the clean washer cycle to make it look brand new again. I've never had a problem with mold because I don't shut the drum door when I'm finished with the washer. Instead, I leave it open and power off the machine so the light turns off. Overall this machine is an amazing purchase.

Problems from day one

Very disappointed. Aesthetically it is a beautiful machine. Unfortunately the machine is very loud. Thuds with every revolution of the drum. Got it serviced immediately, twice, told it was a defect with the design of the belt. They replaced the belt but it didn't matter as they all have a notch in them that thuds with every spin.

Very Loud Vibrating Sound - 2nd Unit

We purchased the washer/dryer set in August 2018.The dryer was making a VERY loud rattling/vibrating noise near the bottom front and front sides. The dealership replaced the unit (dryer) and after 1 month the noise returned. Dryer is on a level solid surface and is level. It's still under warranty and I hope it gets repaired/replaced at no cost to me. 100% totally disabled Veteran and don't have cash to throw away... The washer rocks! In a good way...

This dryer doesn't dry clothes!

This is the worst dryer we've owned. The last one we had was also Maytag and it was amazing. We had that dryer 13 years. The new dryer doesn't dry clothes. The first night we had it we put towels in the dryer and went to bed. We woke up with moist towels and have since learned that almost every loaf needs to be dried twice. Do not buy this model.

I bought this about 7momths ago and it started getting loud with a vibrating noise. The company I bought it from came and thought they fixed it, tightened bolts and bent some part in the bottom they claimed got bent when the dryer was being made. Two weeks later the noise came back and the company came back and tightened more bolts. Noise went away and now is back again. They claim they don't call it a lemon until they can't fix it. I paid close to $1,000.00 for the dryer and have had all these problems. Very disappointed. My last Maytag dryer lasted 26 years and was still going strong when I bought this one to match the washer.

It Dries!

If you ask me a good dryer should be easily forgettable. Put stuff in, start it, come back later to dry clothes. This unit does just that - seemingly getting everything nicely dry without static or shrinking either. I've used the steam a few times which is nice, I like that this has a hose connection rather than a tray you have to fill like my last LG.

JUST WHAT WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!

Purchased our new washer & dryer just over a month ago and so far they are by far the best we've owned in our 34 years of marriage. Quiet, easy to use, efficient and good looking too! Thanks for making a quality product. All you have to do is open the door to feel the quality built into these machines.

Love the sanitize cycle!

Average dryer

The dryer works reasonably well, but has a number of quirks. The cycle labels are somewhat odd.... eg. "Low" is the middle temperature setting. The cycle timer is not accurate and is only an estimate of remaining drying time. Sometimes a minute actually last several minutes. The removable lint trap does not always fit easily and can be difficult to remove and replace.
