We wanted to replace our dishwasher and, unfortunately were unable to find an adequate one in bisque. We ended up replacing all bisque appliances with a Maytag package deal in stainless. I much prefer bisque, but manufacturers seem to make that redundant. I think stainless is cold and sterile looking.

Performs up to my expectations in all respects. Love how fresh the fruit and veggie drawers keep produce! Freezer is generous and easily viewable and accessible. Interior lighting makes everything conveniently immediate. No more hidden surprises moldering in the rear! This is the perfect arrangement and size for us, now that we are a retired couple. It makes our separate freezer unnecessary, just as I had planned. It also helps greatly in my efforts to manage food purchases and usage---much more efficient, less spoilage due to forgotten stuff. My old side by side was hard to access;the freeze and fridge sides were too narrow to reach into comfortably, now that we are older and less pliable. Achy joints are no problem in using this new model. It opens up like a cupboard. All my friends are salivating over this model. It was immediately obvious to them how convenient and comfortable this model is to use every day, besides being just plain beautiful. Don't change a thing!

We previously had a side by side (full height doors) refrigerator. Getting items out of the freezer was always a chore. Not so with the roll out style freezer door. Everything is easier to access with the exception of the ice tray, which is further back in the drawer but still no problem to get ice. The icemaker does take a while to produce clean tasting ice. Maytag recommends that you run 4 gallons of water through the icemaker prior to using the ice for drinking but I'd recommend 10 gallons since after 3 weeks my ice still has a funny taste, even with a filter installed. It's nearly gone now.The refrigerator space is easy to access and well laid out. Gallon size door shelves are excellent. Meat/deli drawer has a nice feature where you can flip up the cover with only one door open so you can access frequently used items without opening both doors and sliding the whole drawer out. The left door does not always fully close on it's own and must be pushed closed if you only open the left. When opening both doors, closing the left first eliminates this issue. There's a small panel along the handle edge of the door that must slide behind the right door to complete the seal. Outer surfaces do show fingerprints and can be a bit of work to clean. Overall we are very happy with our purchase. We have had other appliances but our Maytags have never let us down.

The large slide out tray on the fridge bottom is great, especially for apply trays or larger items. The freezer is roomy and easy to organize.

This is our third side by side. Years ago we had a one door fridge with the freezer on the bottom and we loved it. We are so happy we did this again. It makes it much easier to find things in both the fridge and the freezer. Also this Maytag version squeezes a little more space into the same area than competitors. We have great tap water so didn't need it through the door, and have had problems in the past with ice machine through the door. So we are very happy with this model, even after 4 months. Appears to be very solid construction. We also like the flap between the fridge doors that helps limit cold leaking out.

Purchased the refrigerator to accommodate a smaller kitchen space. It does that very well! Looks great. My challenge is interior space. I might suggest no pull out beverage rack in this particular size. It cramps the interior space. Otherwise it is great and any adjusting has nothing to do with the performance or design of the product but with me being use to a larger capacity. I am still adjusting temp gauge b/c top shelf is freezing contents.
