We love the design and sharp look of this product. We love the ice dispenser, night light feature, and the fact that the water is filtered. There is also a lock button if small children are around. It's really an overall sharp looking product.

We chose this model because our space had a height limitations. A This model had the best features for a frig that fit into that space.It works well but could be a bit quieter. The Freezer space seems less than expected but its the first sidebyside that we've had.

My one issue is that the light for the Water Filter is already RED and is tell me to change the filter. I do not use the water much. We use the ice here and there. Not often.I took delivery in FEB 2013 on this Fridge and the filter already needs changing. That seems too soon.

For the most part, I am VERY happy with my Maytag fridge. If I had 1 complaint, it would have to be how noisy the ice-maker is. It's not real bad, but it could be quieter. But other than that, it really is an AWESOME product!Thanks, Rod.

So far we are quite happy with this replacement refrigerator especially the ice maker as our 21 year old G.E.'s unit died several years ago. The design and function of the ice maker on this Maytag is much better and stores ice extremely well. Pleased to have this appliance in our kitchen.

It is difficult to access the freezer, the door is small & the freezer is skinny making it difficult to use. It is also a rather small freezer, I wouldn't purchase a side by side fridge/freezer in the future.

this is one frig that does it all. weather it be a great abundance of frig storage or the great side by freezer section. and don't forget the water and ice machine weather you want it crushed or cubed it does it all. I am so pleased with this frig.

We love our Magtag refrigerator! The only thing we would change is to make the ice dispenser in the door a little quieter. I wouldn't trade our refrigerator for any other model, unless I upgraded to a french door model.

I had to have a refrigerator that would fit in to a small space and this was it. It has everything I wanted and more. The shelves are a great and the door compartments are awsome. There is some wasted spaced on the freezer door but I found found something to fit in that space and the ice maker is a little loud. Those are small things that I can deal with. I love my fridge especially the ice in door feature--favorite.

Do you ever wonder why you picked the appliance you did? We loved the side-by-side doors and water/ice dispenser, so we knew this was a requirement for our next refrigerator. For about six months, we surfed the web looking up and comparing refrigerators. Who had the best ratings, Quality, prices, etc. When we came across the Maytag, we knew this was the one. The ratings were unbelievably great. The model had the right color, size and features and of course the Side-By-Side doors with Store-N-Door? Ice System we required. So when our refrigerator went out, we ordered the Maytag and it was delivered within a couple of days. Thanks Maytag!

My husband and I both have been thrilled since the day our frig. was delivered, It has such a sleek look and is a wonderful addition to our kitchen. Being able to configure all the shelves, even in the door, to suit your needs is a great feature. The one thing my husband had to have was ice and water dispenser, but to have the ice container IN the door is a bonus and a plus.This unit does a fantastic job of keeping the different food compartments at the right temperatures, so your meats and veggies, etc. stay fresh. In short, I am simply in love with this side-by-side!

When refrig. was 3 wks old water came pouring out and wouldn't stop. It was all over our hardwood kitcen floor. It took 12 beach towels to clean up. Thank God we were home! We had to pull out refrig. and turn off water supply.Apparently the electronic eye malfunctioned at the same time the water came on for the ice maker. That in turn caused theautomatic shut off valve to malfunction. This was a brand new refrig & has left me nervous that it could happen again when we are not home. Other than this it is a great refrig. and I am pleased with it.

Would buy again. The ice maker makes noise when making ice and when dispensing ice but is still better than filling the trays! LOVE the large capacity doors. Lots of stuff that went on the trays is now in the doors - much easier to find stuff!

We were first concerned that there wouldn't be enough freezer space because we had a side by side before but this one has plenty of room. The small shelves in the freezer door are prefect for small items. The ice maker is great and even though we use a lot ice we have never run out. Love it.

The refrigerator needs more room. The one that I had before was deeper and the same height. i liked the extra room that I had with the other one. I was limited as to what I could buy because of the height restriction, I had plenty of width and depth.The drawers are flimsy, and I am afraid that they are going to crack or break when I open them.3 times now I have had a puddle of water in front of it and on the left hand side or corner. If it happens again I will call and have a serviceman come out.The freezer space is to small also.I think it is too loud, with technology today you would think it would be much quieter.

I really like this refridgerator with a few exceptions. It has plenty of storage space inside and I like the fact that I can move the height of the shelves. I'm not impressed with the ice system in the door. It seems that if the light is left on too long(15 minutes or more), the ice melts and refreezes when you turn the light out and then the dispenser gets clogged and you get no ice thru the door. The light does not come on automatically when you use the ice system from the door either. The freezer space is a little small - it's deep but then you can't find things in the back. It's a good "starter" fridge if you've never had a side by side before.

overall I am pleased with my new Maytag frig. I really like the ice maker, the ease to remove the ice maker ice cube storage unit and the built in water filter. The water taste great!!The frig is slightly more noisy then I expected for a new frig but I got use to it over time. Also, I wish there was a light for the water/ice dispenser that would turn on when you would get ice or water. would have been a nice feature for those late night need a glass of water trips. Also, a removal tray in the ice/water dispnser area would have been great. would make cleaning easier for this area.overall I am happy.

This is the noisiest refrigerator I've ever owned. I still can't believe how loud it is while running.The freezer compartment seems large for this size of fridge, in part due to the ice bin in the door, but the refrigerator side is tiny in comparison. The shelves don't hold a lot, they are flimsy and I don't think they'll hold up. The drawers are hard to open and close easily; they always hang when pulling them out or trying to push them in.I can't believe the buttons on front are hard buttons covered by a "vanity" cover to make them look soft-touch.Wish you'd have asked me before you designed this thing and foisted it on us.....I am a fan of Maytag and have always bought their washers, dryers and stoves, but I won't buy another refrigerator....

The bottom drawer in the refigerator side did not fit and had to be replaced.The ice maker freezes up after about 2 weeks and we have to take it out and thaw it to get it going again. The technician who came out said we were not using the dispenser enough...seems like you ought to be able to not dispense ice for two weeks without the machine freezing up.
