We are extremely satisfied with the fridge. We love the double doors and could not imagine not having the water dispenser. It holds a lot in both the fridge and freezer and we couldn't be happier.

looked for new energy appliances. Read reviews and it said good things mostly. Noise is not really much more that old unit - was a Kenmore 13 yrs old that i replaced. Wish it had another shelf but i have improvised and bought can containers, and a lazy susan to help use empty space. Anxious to see how it holds up

Love my maytag frig. The plastic drawers for fruits and meatsare already broken, usable but, broken.And sometimes the Ice falls to the bottom of the freezerinstead of in the catch container for the ice.

Great product, my only 2 complaints are the ice delivery system sometimes clogs up if you use the crush ice a lot. Second is the refrigerator side door gets stuck out of position then abruptly drops making a loud noise. But outside of that I love this product.

We bought this refrigerator to replace one. The shelves are strong and well arranged. It is quiet. Easy to clean when spills occur. We're still getting used to the new format but on the whole I would recommend this model to friends.

We couldn't be happier with this side by side refrigerator! The ice bin in the freezer lifts out nicely to fill a cooler, pitcher, etc. Knowing that my water & ice cubes have been filtered is very comforting to us also. There is plenty of room for pizza boxes to fit in both sides. The three drawers in the refrigerator are perfect for meats & cheeses in the bottom, veggies in the middle one & I like to keep yogurt & coffee in the top one. The refrigerator door shelves are deep enough for gallon milk jugs which we really like to. We love our Maytag side by side refrigerator with store in door ice system.

This refirgerator is has a nice amount of storage space. The storage on the door is great. It keeps the lettuce and vegetables much crisper than my previous refrigerator.The drawbacks are that the ice maker is noisy. Also, the drawers inside will likely not last long. They do not slide smoothly and do not feel sturdy. Otherwise, I do like this refrigerator.

This refrigerator is easy to keep clean. The light in the refrigerator part and and freezer compartment are bright enough to see everything. Having the ice cube maker in the door frees up an entire freezer shelf. The botttom bins are a great size and so are the shelves in the door. The refrigerator is everything we expected and more.

This refrigerator is larger than my old one and I like the ice in the door. It is a little louder than my old refrigerator, but I knew that from reviews. The vegetable keeper and meat keeper are put together, so that makes it one shelf shorter than my previous refrigerator. There are no bins in the freezers. Works great, makes plenty of ice and has an adjustable temperature control for one of the vegetable keepers. I would recommend this model to anyone.

I've had the refrigerator for around 2 months now, and no complaints to report! It does what it's supposed to and it's quiet. It looks nice and sleek, but we'll have to see how it looks after a couple years (especially if any components fade to an off-white). I still haven't hooked up the ice & water maker, so I can't comment on that.

I am completely satisfied with my new Maytag refrigerator. The ice maker provides more than enough ice. The location of the, easy to use, analog temperature controls is to be commended.Cleanliness is paramount and the shelves are easy to clean. The refrigerator being mounted on rollers makes it easy to move the frig out from the wall for cleaning (a 6 or 7 ft water supply tubing is required).The crisper really does prolong the Quality of produce. The extra large door shelves are a great ideal.The freezer produces dense, nominal size ice cubes. The ice crusher works well.Interior lighting in both the freezer and refrigerator is excellent.The noise levels of both the freezer and refrigerator are acceptable.Overall this 25 cubic foot Maytag side-by-side is a very good investment.

So far, it has worked well. though I have 3 criticisms:1) The shelf height adjustments are more limited and less fine tunable compared to our previous fridge of the same size. We are finding that this lessens the capacity.2) The freezer temp rises about 15 degrees F when we lower the thermostat setting of our house to 50 degrees, which we often do when we are not home. This is especially noticeable when we are away from the house for more than two days.3) Not sure, but We think the filter replacement light is based on the amount of time we had the filter rather than the filter functionality. I would like to be informed in the instructions if a) this is how it works and if age of the filter is a factor in how well the filter functions, b) if using the filter when the filter replacement light is on is safe, and c) if we can use other guidelines, such as amount of usage and family size, in judging when to replace the filters

The refrigerator we purchased is being used in a very little used kitchen. It has good shelf arrangement. It has good lighting so that you can easily see items. When used for large gatherings, there is plenety of space to refrigerate the food.

I like the convenience of an upright freezer and the constant supply of ice cubes and cold filtered water. The filter regulator is easy to see, so I know just when I need to have it changed. On the refrigerator side I like the three drawers at the bottom for meats and vegetables,etc. and the adjustable shelves above them and inside the door handle. The controls to regulate the temperature in both the freezer and refrigerator are easy to find and to regulate.

I like the look and the door style of the refrigerator. It has nice shelves and drawers. I would like to have another shelf on the door, the shelves are far apart and another shelf would give more storage space. The top drawer slides nice. The vegetable and meat drawers are sticky and don't slide good. We had to get used to the sound, it is louder than our last refrigerator.

Icemaker design is good in that it frees up extra space in the freezer. But ice tends to freeze up the icecdispenser tube and I thought icemaker had gone burst. Called service and they simply cleaned it up and it started working again.Filer change is a breeze and it tells you when to replace it.Overall quite happy with the product in the first year.

a packing mistake caused the door seal to be damaged tech smoothed it out with heat but it should have been caught by the final inspection

love this refrigerator, has lots of room and looks great in black. love the ice and water in the door and that the ice is inside the door, leaves more room inside on the shelves. just recently used the warranty on the ice maker as it froze up. the company that came out was wonderful and now its working great. thamks Maytag for making such and awesome refrigerator.

We like the unit and only have two complaints. The bottom drawer of cooler is poorly constructed and slides out roughly. Also, the ice bin being in the door allows the ice to warm slightly every time the door is open and the ice refreezes making it difficult to break up.

Let me explain...evey third day, water appears on the floor in front of the freezer. Repair person came out on Jan 7, 2013 and pretty much told me I was crazy. He said that the water cannot come from the fridge. I have photos, but having to clean up after my refrigerator is ridiculous. (That's the main reason I don't have a puppy. lol)How can this problem be solved. I have had this fridge for only 43 days. This is getting on my last nerve.

I like the overall size and design of the storage areas. The drawers are difficult to close due to binding. The ice maker in the door leaves lots of useable freezer space, but it frequently clogs and freezes up. Unclogging causes a mess with ice and water all over the floor. I've had the refrigerator for a little over one month and had to unclog the ice maker three times already.

While I like the looks of the refrigerator and completely trust the brand, I am not sold yet with this one! This is my first side by side and I don't love that...but that is a personal choice. I just do not like how much stacking I have to do to get enough storage. The other issue now is that the ice maker laser sensor has already broken so we are getting a part for that! The ice maker in the door has jammed several times. While I can fix that myself, it is frustrating and messy to do so, But I am holding out hope that I will adjust and all parts will start doing the right thing because I am a Maytag lover!!! My last one lasted over 12 years. My "extra" in the garage is now 22 years old and survived a tornado!

This refrigerator has a lot of room. my previous refrigerator was very similar design. but the freezer section was much smaller even though it is the same size. the new freezer has the ice maker in door which gives much more freezer space. the only thing that I have noticed is that the water dispenser is loud when dispensing water. and the frig occasionally has water dripping into the tray under the refrigerator. but other wise i am happy with the product it has worked great so far.

Very happy with the construction of the refrigerator, including its shelves and the amount of space. The brushed stainless finish looks nice but takes extra effort to clean off fingerprints (this may be true for most brushed stainless). The only issues that could use improvement are the ice maker, which shoots ice out quite forcefully, and the water dispenser, which could use a good filter.

I had read the reviews about how noisy the ice machine was but thought it really could not be that bad. It's worse. I was so sorry I purchased this fridge and if I could I would trade it in for the french door model that I was originally looking at. I would not recommend this to anyone. The ice machine could really wake the dead. Ice cubes most always go flying around the kitchen floor when you open the freezer door. Very disappointed in the fridge.

I use my ice maker dispenser every day, but it will sometimes still freeze and I have to get all the ice out of the holder and run water through it to disolve the ice, but other than that, I am happy with my Maytag.
