I will give a Five Start rating, but I am having problem with the Filter water not functioning properly, when you get the water, the 1st cup is chill/cold, the 2nd cup and other are room temperature, not chill.

Capacity rated as GOOD, because you could add another shelf BUT at a price of well over $100.00 it not worth it!Design rated as FAIR, because both front doors should be able to open FULLY and both doors have tendency to close on you while looking in the refrigerator/freezer! A wheelchair bound person MUST open both door to access items from the unitFeatures rated as GOOD, for the above two listed reasons.

I would have given the refrigerator an excellent rating in all categories but having the filter at the bottom of the refrigerator is a bad place if you have a bad back as you have to lye on the floor the change it and for older folks that is a problem.

We were limited with space so we had to go with a smaller refrigerator than I would have liked but I have been happy with the set up and maximum use of space. So far so good.I have had several Maytag refrigerators and have not had any major problems so we continue to buy them.

Ice maker quit after 3 months, then started back again after I cranked the cold to maximum in the freezer. Another thing that bugs me is the fact that it seems to use up the light in the water dispenser very quickly.

I know everyone thinks they want a water and ice dispenser w/their frig, however, it just cuts out freezer space and is kind of a mess. Ice/water shoots on the floor. I would rather have the space. We are in a housing situation in which we could not choose our own appliances, otherwise I would have opted for a different style all together.

This refrigerator was not our first choice when my husband and I were looking for a new fridge. We have a Maytag washer and dryer, but were looking at other brand named refrigerators. However it was on sale and it was the color we wanted so we decided to purchase it. Boy, are we glad we did. It is first rate. We could have spent more money and gotten a fancier refrigerator, but didn't need to. It is quiet and very roomy with all the bells and whistles that we wanted/needed (i.e. water and ice dispenser in the door, automatic ice maker, etc.). The shelves are easy to rearrange and fridge door holds a lot more food than I thought it would. The ice maker in the freezer has a door that's easy to open and close and keeps the ice clean. All in all we are very pleased that we found this model by mistake. As such, we ended up with a Quality purchase.

We have been very happy with our purchase. The only think I don't like is that the water dispenser does not have a drain or any other holding tank. When we forget to lock it our 2 year old will push the water and it will run on the floor. The fridge is quiet and has plenty of storage. I can't speak on reliability sine we have only had it for two months.

We bought this model because we wanted a good brand, we had limited funds and my wife very much wanted a stainless steel model. The layout inside doesn't maximize storage as well as some other models (e.g., it would be a lot better of the ice unit was entirely in the door so that it didn't take up a lot of shelf space) but it's a good basic refrigerator and looks nice.

Great refridgerator for the price. There is no sound alarm when the door is left open. But that isn't important to me. Love the water, ice, & light in the door. Glass shelves are great for preventing spills & makes for easy clean-up.

We were surprised to see a flaw on the front panel as soon as we took the plastic off. We have since had it repaired under warranty and it now looks great. I have decided that I don't care for the sided by side style and miss my old freezer on the bottom style. I also miss having a small meat and cheese tray which my old refrigerator had. Other than that, this refrigerator is quiet and keeps the food at the right temperature. The crisper trays do not work as smoothly as I would prefer. The water and ice in the door is a nice feature.

Maytag has done it again. This refrigerator is a great buy & has all the features we need. I really like how easy it is too remove the handles if you need to move the refrigerator to a new house. Just lift up & off & its done. No tools needed!The interior shelves are well designed also.

Was very happy with this product until we discovered that there was a few features missing that we did not notice when we purchased this product. The bottom crisper did not come with a glass top at all, which did not make since at all. We had to order and pay for one to be delivered. The good thing is that Home Depot did give us a credit back. They contacted Maytag for us and they said that it was the way it came, just like the model. Home Depot agreed with us that it should have had one. The only other thing is that I miss having a deli tray in the middle. Our other one had one and did not realize that when we bought the new one. Overall a good product but you should add the glass top for the bottom crisper. Home Depot was great for helping us solve that problem.

The only small complaint I would have is that the "indicators" on the ice machine panel for cube, crushed, etc. are worthless. The can not be seen unless you shine a light directly on them. I do not consider this a major flaw.

We are completely satisfied with our Maytag fridge, it works as specified. Although when the ice maker is full you can hear the water pouring back into the fridge and its a little distracting until you realize where it is coming from.

Nice looking and quiet, this refrigerator has lots of space. The only drawbacks I have are there is not small drawer but I could order one separately for about $20. Also, on one of the doors, there seems to be a little rust appearing on the outside rim but it comes off with stainless steel cleaner. I would rate it a good refrigerator for the price.

The only issue I have is that I've not been able to find a cleaner that will get the hand prints off the stainless steel front. When the product was delivered the delivery men left a couple of hand prints on the front of the doors. I use stainless steel cleaner but the marks show right back up when the cleaner dries.

We recently replaced our GE side by side refrigerator with a comparable Maytag. The GE had more features and better comparment space,but was proned to breakdowns and finally a leak within a six year period. I will have to wait a few years before I can honestly compare both products.

Ever since the Whirlpool Company has taken over Maytag I have personally seen a huge step up in the Quality of the products. In the last 8 months I have replaced the dishwasher, the microwave, and the refrigerator, all with Maytag. I intend to in the near future replace the oven, also with a Maytag. All the replacements have been stainless steel, and they look great.

We're very happy to have found a nice, large, fridge for the price. The doors came a little cockeyed and we didn't notice that until the delivery guys were gone. I think it will be an easy adjustment, but I've left it that way partly because I think it's funny. I'll probably fix it later, though. You definately hear it making ice at night if your in the same room, but it sounds normal.

The MayTag refrigerator that we purchased has the capacity to hold more than we did before.At least twice a week I had to run out for bags of ice which was an Inconvience.With this product it saves me a lot of trips to the store.Know I have two in one with water and it fits right where the old one did.My husband is a veteran and can not get out the house that much so thank u for having this product for the right.
