A beautiful machine!

This is the best washer I have ever used. I wash large dog beds, lots of blankets, lots of clothes, etc. It has to be the prettiest and largest washing machine I've ever seen on the interior. It's amazing to reach down inside and take my clothes out... to see the depth of this machine. Very well-made, and it is making my life so much easier. Use the correct controls for each type of fabric and or object. You will be completely satisfied and you will want to wash nonstop!!!!!

Marginal Design and Forget Knit Wardrobe

I purchased this washer and the matching dryer last year from a "big box store." It is my first "modern" washer. Here is what I have learned: 1. Measure the washer and the dryer and your available space carefully. The washer and dryer are not the same dimensions and they protrude much farther from the wall than the older style washer and dryer. I have a small laundry room and this is significantly cut into my space. 2. This washer is incredibly hard on clothes (yes, I know how to use the delicate cycle). I wear a lot of Chico's Travelers knits and they are stretched to the point they are ruined. This is the single greatest design flaw. 3. The lids of the washer and dryer are not level. This may add to a "modern" look but from a users perspective, I want to be able to fold and stack clothes as I work.

We've had this washer for about a month now. The size is huge, bigger than most of what we need. However, I like that it can handle more when needed. It cleans well, heats the water to supplement cold input issues from the hot tap, and is very quiet.

Bought it primarily because of the largest available cu.ft. washer. However, because of the way the washer works you can't fill the tub even remotely close to what you'd think. Even had a Maytag authorized repairman come out thinking it was using it incorrectly, and he confirmed the limitation. Great Maytag quality but clothing amount limitations makes it not worth the price.

the deep fill is NOT deep, my cothes do not get cleaned or rinsed! I have to alwas use deep fill and extra rinse to get my clothes patrially clean, washclothes and towels don't "smell clean" when I use a fragence fee detergent! please bring back a full fill old fashioned washer! I am not crazy about the matching dryer either!

Holes in many of my cloths

Big and lightens the loads!

Ladies, moms and dads. Do not buy this machine It will be a waste of money and you will be very disappointed. This machine leaks. I have had 2 now. This first one leaked the very first time I used it. The second one started to leak less than 2 months of owning the machine. Both leaked at the left front corner. You will have a hard time with Maytag. Stay away from buying American Maytag products.Maytag would like to send out a repair man to fix my machine of 6 weeks... REALLY?? I paid a lot of money for this product and am very disappointed with the product and the customer service. I was a loyal Maytag customer, but not anymore. People... Trust me... This product is garbage. I added the wash beads to my wash too. They stuck to my clothing and put a hole thru my husbands tee shirt. Did not even wash the product thoroughly...

great washer == terrible installation experience

I have six children and I need a workhorse for a washer -- The savings in energy and water are a bonus. I would caution you to read the manual carefully to understand the loading instructions, it is quite a change from a 20 year old washer with the center agitator. Drying time is about half because the spin is incredible. The installers did not follow the proper 39 inch minimum for the drain hose and we had problems with the drain cycle because of the loop in the crain hose -- it took 10 days for the service call to be answered. Maytag customer service was helpful and friendly but the delay was tough. I also bought the maytag dryer last week so I will let you know how that is going at a later date.

Disappointing.

Pass on this machine and the matching dryer if you want a washer and dryer that lasts longer than a year before needing repairs. Lid lock malfunctioning and bleach dispenser not draining properly on the washer. Dryer is no longer heating on the normal setting and the timer is also not functioning properly. I was very satisfied with the performance of both machines until the issues arose at less than a year old. So much for Maytag's dependability.

Does not finish the Job!!!

Do not by this or any other washer without an agitator ( the pole in the middle). The clothes do not come completety clean and the film from the dirty water settles on the clothes as it drains. The agitator in the middle is what helps with that. It is kind of like the dirty ring around a bathtub after you take a bath and if you do not clean it, it ends up on your clothes. I have had a service on the machine and the reply was it isnworking I do not know what to tell you...

I love my new washer!!

I have had my washer for 48 hours and I fell in LOVE! The first wash I stayed and watched it twist and turn. It is a true deep fill washer! I am so tickled! I have names my washer Bubba. Since Bubba came into my life I have loved doing laundry. I crammed him full of towels and wash rags and they came out clean! Now I need a step stool to reach the bottom since Bubba is so tall but I love tall and muscly men! Thank you Maytag!!!

Reliable Machines

Having owned a previous set of Maytag washer and dryer for 10 years, which by the way still worked perfectly, but was to small for our growing family we decided to stick with Maytag and upgrade. It's way to early to discuss reliability of the new machines but the size, features, and quietness of the machines is amazing. They are expensive, but if they last another 10 years like the other set it will be well worth it.

Problems from Day 1

I bought this and was so excited to have it installed in my new house. The one thing I wanted to get top of the line was a washer and dryer. This washer was brand new out of the box and I turned it on only to discover it was pouring water all down the left side. I scheduled a maintenance call which wasn't for another TWO weeks. My scheduled appointment was somehow cancelled and dealing with the service shop was a nightmare. I finally spoke to a great woman in Maytag's customer service who got my appointment rescheduled so I didn't have to wait even longer to start using my brand new washer. Her name was Sandra and if not for her, I wouldn't be keeping my machine. I still don't have a fix yet and all I want to do is wash my clothes in my own home and not have to pay for laundromat services.

Always wanted a washing machine deep enough to wash heavy duty things like bedspreads, comforters, etc. FINALLY, this one meets those needs. For smaller loads, I need a step stool to reach the bottom to remove clothes from it, but I'll get on a step stool any day to keep from having to go to a Laundry Mat to wash those other items. I talked my wife into this washer. We bought it on May 29th. We had is about 6 days before it completely quit. The power wash setting never worked from day one. The bedding cycle was next, then the whites. We can't wash a load at all. Waiting on parts. We put 6 towels in and it stopped and couldn't handle the load. What a machine, it's not even worth its weight in scrap!

Just buy it !!

Wonderful machine. Easy to use. Cleans in one load what would take other washers 2-3 loads. Washed 3 sets of king size sheets, had room for more, really clean, used wrinkle guard, happy with the results. Doesn't get better than that for me.

Wonderful washer

6/15/2017

After 15 years with our previous Maytag washer we decided it was time to upgrade to a newer model. This thing doesn't disappoint! Capacity is superb and terrific washing power while using less water. Our youngest daughter even likes to do laundry now so she can watch it through the glass top.

Big and quiet

Awesome commercial size washer

My maytag dryer that my husband got from his mom had for 30 years quick working went in to buy another dryer but instead I ended getting a set of maytag washer and dryer. I could not be happier. The washer is big enough to wash my king size bedding and I love the steam on my dryer
