After the first use the inside drum started leaking,drip,drip,drip. Got worse with each use. Called Whirlpool to get it fixed and it's been good ever since.

I don't know about most people, but the less bells and whistles the better. This machine has enoughdrying options for my needs, frankly how many do you need......or really use!! Great machine, made in U.S. ....not many things are these days. I would definately recommend, especially if you have a space issue (front to back). It is a flat back design, not many models are this way.

After more then 30 years our Whirlpool electric dry died. When shopping for a new dryer I was please to see that the current version of our old dryer was still being made. Same steel chassis, metal parts, etc. Of course there have been some nice improvements too. More temperature control, cool down cycle and a fun surprise, a light in the drum.

I bought this a month ago and was expecting better from this brand. I place a large load for the longest drying time (80 minutes, Heavy Dry), the clothes are still damp at the end of the cycle. Forget about using the "automatic" mode, at the end of the cycle clothes are still wet...very disappointed with this product.

The 5.9 cu ft. top load Electric Dryer is an excellent buy. The machine is quiet and efficient in drying clothes. It even has a wonderful feature where if you do not unload your clothes immediately at the end of the drying time it will keep "fluffing" them by intermittently turning on and off in the "wrinkle shield" mode. This dryer is also an excellent match with the high efficiency washer model #:WTW4815EW1. I would highly recommend both models.

I have only used the dryer once since it was installed, but so far - so good! I have limited space and the flat back design fit nicely. Only suggestion would be to offer flat back or smaller depth dryers with stainless steel drum.

We purchased these about a month ago and it has been one of the best washer and dryer ever. I can wash and dry in half the time as before. Easy settings , so many to choose from . Love it. Now I have more time for things I want to do .
